Publication number: 20260074491Abstract: Methods for molding an electrical socket into concrete during the concrete pouring process are disclosed. The method includes mounting an electrical junction box assembly to a concrete form. The electrical junction box has a closure plate that defines a first through hole configured to receive an electrical switch or electrical outlet, a secondary plate mounted directly to the closure plate, and a removable blank seated in the second through hole and having a bolt extending through the removable blank and protruding forward a distance sufficient to be received in and protrude from the hole in the concrete form. The secondary plate has a forward protruding flange defining a second through hole aligned with the first through hole. Then, the method includes pouring concrete into the concrete form, thereby surrounding the electrical junction box with concrete, and after the concrete is set, removing the concrete form and the removable blank.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 24, 2025Publication date: March 12, 2026Applicant: BOCCI DESIGN & MANUFACTURING, INC.Inventors: Randall BISHOP, Patrick MULCAHY

Publication number: 20250329999Abstract: Systems for mounting an electrical junction box in a concrete structure and methods of making concrete structures with such electrical junction boxes molded therein are disclosed. The system includes a secondary plate configured to be mounted to a closure plate of an electrical junction box, a removable blank seated in the second through hole, and a bolt extending through the removable blank. The removable blank protrudes forward a distance sufficient to mount to a concrete form. The secondary plate has a forward protruding flange defining a second through hole aligned with the first through hole and a rear surface of the secondary plate comprises a recess therein that extends from the second through hole in a radial outward direction and the bolt terminates with a foot and the recess of the secondary plate is shaped to receive the foot to define a latched position for the removable blank.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 18, 2025Publication date: October 23, 2025Applicant: BOCCI DESIGN & MANUFACTURING, INC.Inventors: Randall BISHOP, Patrick MULCAHY

Patent number: 10363407Abstract: Embodiments include a fiducial deployment system with a handle configured for actuation of the same, the handle including a collet mechanism actuatable for controlled, one-at-a-time deployment of fiducials. A fiducial may include one or more protuberances configured to engage one or more slots in a needle of the system. The needle may be configured to deliver a plurality of fiducials to a target location in serial fashion, one at a time. In certain embodiments, echogenic placement of fiducials may present certain advantages. The handle includes an actuation mechanism with a collet and plunger actuation member configured for incrementally or otherwise controlledly deploy one or more fiducials at a time by advancing a sty let through and/or retracting the body of a slotted needle in which fiducials are disposed with a fiducial protrusion extending into the needle slot, which also includes retaining structures that do not impede the needle lumen.Type: GrantFiled: May 14, 2015Date of Patent: July 30, 2019Assignee: Cook Medical Technologies LLCInventors: Michael Clancy, Darach McGrath, Triona Campbell, Patrick Mulcahy, Fionan Keady, Ciaran Toomey
