Abstract: A computer-implemented travel reservation and booking system includes a reservation system and an inventory system coupled to an output of the reservation system to receive notifications from the reservation system. The inventory system has an output coupled with an inventory display system. The reservation system includes at least one data processor operating under control of software instructions stored in at least one memory to receive passenger name records (PNRs) associated with a particular segment and date and, for each received PNR, to determine if the received PNR has been priced or not. If the received PNR has been priced, then considering the actual price. If the received PNR has not been priced then the at least one data processor estimates a price and further operates to prorate the actual price or the estimated price to obtain prorated prices for each segment and date.
