Abstract: A protocol is provided for communicating data between two applications. The protocol can support communication of an extensible markup language (XML) document over hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) by associating the XML document with a data envelope and sending the data envelope to a disparate application. The data envelope can comprise a header, which can specify supported compression methods, encryption keys, and/or data specific to the disparate application and/or the sending application. The protocol adds a layer of security to the communication and can prevent malicious requests and other attacks. This protocol can also be used in conjunction with a health integration network.

Abstract: A schema for storing health related data within a health integration network is provided to facilitate housing the data in a common and easy transformable and accessible manner. Utilizing this schema, disparate otherwise proprietary applications can store data formatted according to their own schema within the health integration network providing common accessibility to other applications. The other applications can request the commonly stored data from the health integration network to facilitate data transmission between the disparate applications.

Abstract: An application program interface (API) is provided for requesting, storing, and otherwise accessing data within a health integration network. The API facilitates secure and seamless access to the centrally-stored data by offering authentication/authorization, as well as the ability to receive requests in an extensible language format, such as XML, and returns resulting data in XML format. The data can also have transformation, style and/or schema information associated with it which can be returned in the resulting XML and/or applied to the data beforehand by the API. The API can be utilized in many environment architectures including XML over HTTP and a software development kit (SDK).

Abstract: Systems (and corresponding methodologies) that facilitate tracking ‘actions’ associated with records and data maintained within a centralized health-related data repository are provided. Effectively, an audit trail helps the user keep track of all the changes and accesses that happened on the user's record and can help them understand the control offered to them over their personal information by the health-related data system. Thus, trust and confidence can be enhanced due to the personal control a user has with regard to access and tracking of the health record. Additionally, the innovation can apply a schema that corresponds to a particular action prior to generating the audit trail or log.

Abstract: A platform for associating branding information with data is provided to allow a manufacturer of a data device, or other company, to be recognized for its data contribution to a centralized platform, for example. In this regard, companies have incentive to provide data services to users of the platform as the data can comprise branding information related to the company such as an advertisement, link to a main website or product specific websites, logo, additional data related to a request that is specific to the device, and/or additional data regarding users of similar devices. The branding information is rendered along with the data requested.

Abstract: A system that uses a health-related dictionary component to establish responses to requests from devices and applications is provided. The innovation discloses uses of a health-related dictionary to enable retrieval of standardized lists and taxonomies in the healthcare space as well as localization of health-related data. Examples of these taxonomies include codes from medical coding vocabularies such as CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), layouts, templates, as well as references to units of measurements such as feet, inches, meters, liters, etc.

Abstract: A virtual scenario generator is provided that applies a virtual scenario to real-world data, such as health and fitness related data, adding a creative way to track the real-world data and/or enhancing the data by adding a competitive element. Thus, the activity related to the real-world data can be incentivized in this regard. A virtual scenario application component can receive data from an input device and apply the virtual scenario, which can be created using an interface, based on rules related to the scenario. The scenario data can subsequently be tracked, on a computer display for example. Additionally, a collaborative functionality can be employed to allow competition between remotely located users of the same virtual scenario, and advertisements can be sent to the users based on many factors including sponsorship and location.

Abstract: A granular perpendicular magnetic recording medium, comprising: (a) a non-magnetic substrate having a surface; and (b) a layer stack on the substrate surface, the layer stack including a granular perpendicular magnetic recording layer formed by: (1) reactively sputtering a target comprised of a magnetic alloy in an atmosphere containing at least one ionized oxygen species derived from a source gas comprised of a compound of oxygen and at least one other non-metallic element; and (2) oxidizing an exposed upper surface of the granular perpendicular magnetic recording layer by generating a plasma containing at least one ionized oxygen species derived from a source gas comprised of a compound of oxygen and at least one other non-metallic element and treating the exposed upper surface of the granular perpendicular magnetic recording layer with the plasma.

Abstract: A stroller is provided having a stroller frame supported by at least one wheel and a handle. The handle includes a brake operator that is coupled to a brake assembly at the wheel. The brake operator is movable between a first position whereby the brake assembly is disengaged from the wheel, and a second position whereby the brake assembly engages the wheel to retard the wheel motion.

Abstract: A stroller is provided having a stroller frame supported on at least one wheel and a handle. A child seat is supported by the stroller frame, and includes a seatback connected to a seating surface that extends forward from the seatback. The stroller includes a recline mechanism that is operable to move the seatback between a first position and a second position reclined relative to the first position. The recline mechanism includes a tension carrying member having a tension that applies a force to the seatback between the first and second positions.

Abstract: A child restraint assembly for a child vehicle seat includes a buckle assembly including a buckle and a pair of latches, a harness coupled to the buckle assembly, and a harness adjuster to adjust the harness. The buckle includes a buckle actuator slidable between a first position and a second position relative to a front surface of the buckle to unlock the buckle assembly. The harness adjuster includes a housing and a harness adjuster actuator movable between a first position and a second position relative to a front surface of the housing to unlock the harness adjuster. Movement of the buckle actuator from the first position to the second position is in the same direction as movement of the harness adjuster actuator from the first position to the second position. The buckle can include a grip surface of sufficient thickness to enable a user to brace a finger against the buckle grip surface when actuating the buckle actuator.

Abstract: Magnetic recording media having a magnetic layer, wherein the magnetic layer comprises a continuous matrix material and a separate portion that is different from the matrix is disclosed. The matrix comprises a non-ferromagnetic material that is non-ferromagnetic in a bulk state. The separate portion comprises a ferromagnetic material and comprises substantially none of at least one component of the non-ferromagnetic material. One embodiment is a dual magnetic layer recording media including a lower magnetization (Ms), exchange decoupled magnetic bottom layer; and a high Ms, high magnetic anisotropy (Ku), magnetic top layer having exchange decoupled grains. This media enables reduced total magnetic layer thickness and higher signal, while maintaining high Ku and low media noise.

Abstract: A stroller frame has a front, a back, and a ready for use configuration. The stroller frame includes a spine having a forward end, a rear end, an underside, and a top side. The spine is positioned generally along a center lengthwise axis of the stroller frame with the forward end coinciding with the front of the stroller frame and the rear end elevated above the forward end and coinciding with the back of the stroller frame. A pair of rear legs each has a proximal end coupled to the spine and a distal end located below, laterally outward, and rearward of the respective proximal end. The proximal ends are laterally spaced apart from one another. A pair of support arms each has a proximal end coupled to the spine. Each support arm has a distal end portion located above, laterally outward, and forward of the respective proximal end. A seat is frame coupled to the stroller frame and positioned on the top side of the spine. The stroller can be collapsible in three dimensions.

The handle is movable from an in-use position extending from the stroller frame to a collapsed position lying adjacent and parallel along the stroller frame. The assembly has a bracket for attaching the handle to the stroller frame. The bracket has one part configured to allow rotation of the handle sideways away from the in-use position to a partly collapsed position. The bracket has a different part configured to allow the handle to rotate to the completely collapsed position adjacent the stroller frame.

A damper region is formed adjacent the downward facing surface, the generally vertically oriented surface, and the upward facing surface of the carrier. A wheel mount is provided on the bottom spring section. The wheel mount is spaced from the depending spring section on a free end of the bottom spring section.

In some cases, the frame assembly includes a spine. The spine has an underside surface with a one or more brackets or hooks. The brackets are arranged along a main axis of the spine. As a result, each bracket is equidistant from each of a pair of wheels to center the suspended item between the pair of wheels.

Abstract: A magnetic recording medium having a magnetic layer with an L10 structure and an easy magnetization axis lying about 35° out-of-plane of the magnetic layer is disclosed. This medium has very high coercivity (Hc) and anisotropy field (Hk), giving rise to improved thermal stability. Combined with improved writability of the canted magnetic easy axis, this media enables improved recording signal-to-noise ratio (SNR).
