  • Publication number: 20200095528
Abstract: The ecosystem for methane conversion and emissions reduction disclosed herein presents a low-cost solution to the global methane accumulation problem. Ruminants generate gases as part of their digestive process, including methane, and the negative effects of methane in our atmosphere are well known. Many attempts are underway to use diet modifiers to lessen the amount of methane created and therefore minimize the effect. The presented invention takes a different approach. A methane converter is used in conjunction with a closed system to first transform the methane into the less damaging CO2 and then to use the CO2 for feeding algae growth. Methane at concentration levels in the enclosed habitat are maintained low to minimize the possibility of explosion, and the conversion from methane to CO2 is triggered by heating the low concentration methane with a heated surface or small flame.

  • Publication number: 20160192901
Abstract: A method of applying ultrasound gel including the steps of removing a barrier separating a reagent and a lubricating gel. The reagent and the lubricating gel are separated within a single packaging. Mixing the reagent and the lubricating gel to produce a lubricating gel mixture. The mixing causes an exothermic reaction configured to selectively heat the lubricating gel to a desired temperature. Opening the packaging to permit the release of the lubricating gel mixture and then distributing the lubricating gel mixture onto a patient.

  • Publication number: 20080288193
Abstract: Techniques for improving on data center best practices are provided. In one aspect, an exemplary methodology for analyzing energy efficiency of a data center having a raised-floor cooling system with at least one air conditioning unit is provided. The method comprises the following steps. An initial assessment is made of the energy efficiency of the data center based on one or more power consumption parameters of the data center. Physical parameter data obtained from one or more positions in the data center are compiled into one or more metrics, if the initial assessment indicates that the data center is energy inefficient. Recommendations are made to increase the energy efficiency of the data center based on one or more of the metrics.

  • Publication number: 20050262220
Abstract: A computing system is provided that comprises a portable, hand-held computer comprising a display and a plurality of cursor control keys; and a proxy server coupled to the portable computer by a data link. A proxy server is also coupled to at least one remote server on the Internet. The portable computer is adapted to activate a menu comprised of a plurality of entries. Each entry corresponds to at least one mark-up language file to be accessed by the user. The method disclosed herein provides a shorthand way of requesting mark-up language files using one hand and a minimal number of keystrokes. Once the proxy server receives the file, it separates the file into viewable segments and sends the first viewable segment to the portable computer.
