  • Publication number: 20240077342
Abstract: A method for calibrating a sensor of a sensor system. A plurality of sensors structurally identical to the sensor of the sensor system and a general sensor model are provided. An inner optimization step is subsequently carried out for each of the structurally identical sensors. During the inner optimization step, a sensor-specific sensor model is initialized using the general sensor model and a sensor-specific model parameter is subsequently optimized based on measured data of the sensor. The sensor-specific sensor model is adapted with the aid of the sensor-specific model parameter. An outer optimization step is then carried out. In this step, the sensor-specific sensor models adapted for each sensor are used in order to optimize the general sensor model. The general sensor model is stored in a memory of the sensor system.

  • Patent number: 9592641
Abstract: A tire sealant bottle assembly that includes a bottle, a nozzle, and a cap is disclosed. The bottle is designed to hold tire sealant therein. The nozzle removably couples to the bottle and includes a nozzle base, a nozzle head integral with the nozzle base, and a channel extending through the nozzle. The channel includes a substantially cylindrical portion at the terminating end of the nozzle head that is at least 5 mm in length and has an inner diameter between approximately 7 and 8 mm. The cap may be a hollow valve core tool cap having an open first end, a closed second end, and a valve core removal tool extending from the second end away from the first end.

  • Patent number: 9242416
Abstract: An aerosol tire sealant and inflator assembly includes an aerosol bottle, a lid, an actuator, and a hose. The aerosol bottle has pressurized tire sealant and air housed therein. The lid has an actuator opening extending through the lid and a sloped locking lip extending from an inner wall. The locking lip includes a first portion and a second portion. The actuator is positioned within the actuator opening and rotatably coupled to the lid between a closed position and an open position. The actuator has a coupling and an actuator tab engaged with the first portion of the locking lip when the actuator is in the closed position and engaged with the second portion of the locking lip when the actuator is in the open position. The hose includes a coupling configured to couple to the actuator and a coupling configured to couple to a tire stem.

  • Publication number: 20050172504
Abstract: A digital display compass for mounting on vehicle rear view mirrors, including a direction sensor module generating signals corresponding to a direction that it is facing attached to the inside of the vehicle windshield, an electronic housing attached to the back side of the rear view mirror, and a digital display attached to the front side of the rear view mirror. A flexible transmission cord extends from the directional sensor module to the electronic housing, and transmits the signals from the direction sensor module. The electronic housing contains a battery power source and electronics for converting the signals received from the transmission cord to drive a digital display representative of the direction sensed by the direction sensor module. A flexible cable extends from the back side of the mirror to the front side of the mirror and provides electronic communication from the electronic housing to the digital display.
