  • Publication number: 20240140082
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, devices, and optical components are described. One or more materials used in an optical system may be bonded together using a pulsed laser beam. The bonding process may include transmitting a pulsed laser to irradiate an interface between two components, which may include two optical components or an optical component and a mounting component. The pulsed laser may generate one or more bonding locations where the components are in relatively close contact with each other, which may secure the components together via at least partial melting of material at one or more surfaces of the components. In some examples, the pulsed laser may be scanned over the bonding locations some quantity of times and/or using a pattern to achieve the bond. In some aspects, one or more absorbing layers may be added to the components.

  • Patent number: 11969215
Abstract: System and method for imaging a target site with a housing assembly having a head unit configured to be at least partially directed towards the target site. An optical coherence tomography (OCT) module and stereoscopic visualization camera are at least partially located in the head unit and configured to obtain a first set and a second of volumetric data of the target site, respectively. A controller is configured to register the first set of volumetric data with the second set of volumetric data to create a third set of registered volumetric data. The third set of registered volumetric data and second set of volumetric data are rendered, via a volumetric render module, to a first and second region. The first region and the second region are overlaid to obtain a composite shared view of the target.

  • Patent number: 11958033
Abstract: This invention relates to modified MOF materials, methods of preparing them and processes using them. A modified MOF of the invention is modified by impregnating a MOF with an inorganic metal salt. The starting MOF contains at least one linker or ligand which contains an aryl amino group as part of its structure. These modified MOFs are able to adsorb either basic or acidic toxic industrial compounds (TIC). The modified MOFs can be used to remove TICs from various gaseous streams such as air.

Abstract: This invention relates to metal organic framework (MOF) compositions, methods of preparing them and methods of using them. The MOF compositions are characterized in that at least a portion of the linker molecule is an amino containing organic linker. The MOF also has a crystal size of greater than 1 ?m and has been treated with an acid wash to provide a MOF in which at least 55% of the amino groups are activated amino groups of the form —NH2. The MOF compositions are useful in adsorbing various contaminants from various gas stream. One specific example is adsorbing NO2 from an air stream.
