  • Patent number: 6843204
Abstract: A bird feeder of elongated square shape, hung by a wire and is impervious to the invasion and destruction by squirrels. The feeder relies on a slippery hard vinyl (PVC) surface that holds seed that can be plucked through a screen from the underside of the feeder-utilizing a vertical dowel for a perch. The feeder, which is weather proof, is simple to make and has no movable parts. The bird feeder caters to the clinging type birds and needs little to no maintenance and has an aesthetic appearance.

  • Publication number: 20040029075
Abstract: In an arrangement for anchoring a threaded implant (1) in dentine (2) by means of a screwing instrument (6), use is made of an implant which, at its upper part, is provided with an anchoring hole (1c) for a screw (5) intended to secure an element or fixture holder (4) that can be attached to the implant. The centre axis of the anchoring hole is inclined in relation to the longitudinal axis (1b) of the implant. The element is provided with means (4d) for cooperation with the instrument (6). The element and its means of cooperation permit application of the instrument in a way which ensures that the axis of rotation (6d) of the instrument essentially coincides with a continuation of the longitudinaxis (1b) of the implant.

  • Patent number: 5429504
Abstract: The drill consists of a cylindrical body (1) in which at least two helical flutes (2) are hollowed out, which helical flutes (2) delimit as many helical cutting edges (3), this body (1) being extended via a drive shank (4). The body (1) is equipped with guide marks consisting of circumferential grooves (7), having a profile substantially in the shape of an arc of a circle, which are formed in the cylindrical body (1), and of an elastic ring (8, 9 or 10) which has a profile adapted to that of the grooves (7) and a more or less toric shape and which is capable of being placed, as desired, in one or other of these grooves (7), before the drill is put into operation, and of remaining therein until completion of this operation.

  • Patent number: 5178539
Abstract: A dental implant comprises an insert member received into the jaw and an implant head connected thereto. The insert member has a straight part, the end of which is flush with the surface of the jaw when the member is inserted into the jaw. The implant head is detachably connected to the insert member and a dental prosthesis is mounted thereon. The insert member and the implant head are innerconnected by a ball joint permitting angular orientation of the implant head relative to the insert member. A bendable connector element connects the implant head to the insert member by extending through cavities located therein, the connector element being bendable, in the vicinity of the center of the ball joint.
