  • Patent number: 5125765
Abstract: A seawall system comprising a concrete seawall and means for providing a footing upon which the seawall rests. The seawall has a lower portion provided to be below the normal water level and an upper portion provided to be above the normal water level, a top, a bottom to rest upon the footing means, a back to face the earth and away from the water, and a front to face the water. The front has an upper front panel above the normal water level and a lower front panel below the normal water level. The seawall is formed to have a plurality of recesses in the lower front panel providing nesting places and habitats for marine life and other wildlife normally found in the water environment.

  • Patent number: 4999963
Abstract: A roof membrane anchoring system in accordance with the present invention includes an anchoring plate with a roof engaging surface and a top surface that can be attached to an existing structure. The anchoring plate has an axial opening therein into which a lip extends. An insert is inserted into the axial opening in the anchoring plate once a roofing membrane is inserted into the axial opening in the plate. The insert has a greatest diametrical dimension. The anchoring system is designed to assume a first state wherein the greatest diametrical dimension of the insert is slightly less than the inside diameter of the axial opening and slightly greater than the inside diameter of the lip extending into the axial opening and a second state wherein the greatest diametrical dimension of the insert is slightly less than the inside diameter of the lip which extends into the axial opening.

  • Patent number: 4825613
Abstract: A roofing system including insulation blocks and a flexible membrane. A plurality of insulation blocks are positioned atop a roof frame with the longitudinal edges of the blocks being spaced apart. A plurality of plates are mounted atop the insulation blocks with the plate being positioned adjacent the four corners of adjacent but spaced apart insulation blocks. Downwardly depending ribs from the plate space the insulation blocks apart while preventing rotation of the plate. Additional ribs extend form the plates against and into the insulation blocks further limiting movement of the plates. A fastener secures each plate to the roof frame. A membrane extends over the entire roof and is attached thereto by adhesive means located atop the plates.

Abstract: A roof membrane anchoring system in accordance with the present invention includes an anchoring plate with a roof engaging surface and a top surface that can be attached to an existing structure. The anchoring plate has an axial opening therein into which a lop extends.

  • Patent number: 4658558
Abstract: A roof membrane anchoring system in accordance with the present invention includes an anchoring plate with a substantially planar bottom surface and convexly radiused top surface that can be attached to an existing structure. The anchoring plate is disk-shaped and has a cylindrical axial opening in the center into which a lip and a bottom flange extend to form a channel. A cap with a resilient cylindrical body having V-shaped flanges at the bottom and either a disk or ring attached to the top is inserted into the anchoring plate once a roofing membrane is inserted into the axial opening in the plate. The resilient cylindrical body has a cylindrical cavity therein and compression cuts which extend through the body and to the V-shaped flange to allow for the resilient body to assume a first state wherein the greatest diametrical dimension of the resilient cylindrical body and the V-shaped flange is slightly less than the inside diameter of the lip extending into the axial opening.
