    Abstract: Processes and machines for the unseating test for a mounted assembly, wherein, on the machine, the test (or “load”) forces are transmitted only in a normal direction, that is to say by that part of the tire intended to be in contact with the ground, that is to say under normal conditions the “crown” of the tire (substantially the tread) and, under extreme test conditions, the crown, the “shoulder” and ultimately the “sidewall” of the tire. Operation may be in static mode (wheel on a test plate) or in dynamic mode (wheel rolling with drift on a test drum or other test surface).
