Abstract: A manually operated liquid dispenser having a dispensing position and a refilling position, comprising: a liquid container including a dispensing opening through which the liquid is discharged from the container in the dispensing position of the dispenser and a refill opening, separate from the dispensing opening, through which the liquid is introduced in the refilling position of the dispenser and a supporting structure which supports the liquid container in such a way as to conceal the refill opening in the dispensing position and to uncover the refill opening in the refilling position, the supporting structure of container adapted to invert the container, and to hold the container upright in the dispensing position and inverted in the refilling position.

Abstract: Cap comprising a base surface having a dispensing opening, closure means enabling the dispensing opening to be closed or opened, retaining means for holding the cap in position relative to a bottle, and a skirt which is to be inserted tightly in the filling opening of the bottle. The skirt also has a substantially cylindrical outer surface extending continuously around the entire skirt. The retaining means comprise a resiliently deformable peripheral protuberance which is arranged in the vicinity of the free end of the skirt.

Abstract: A closure device for a squeeze tube that is squeezed to expel the contents thereof, the closure device being of the type comprising a first portion provided with a dispensing orifice and a second portion provided with a stud suitable for co-operating with the dispensing orifice in order to close it and also to open it; the first and second portions are associated with each other on a permanent basis while still being capable of being displaced one relative to the other. The stud is continuously urged towards its closed position by a resilient member. According to the invention, the first portion comprises a sealed thrust device suitable for acting against the resilient member in the stud-opening direction so that in the closed position the stud closes the dispensing orifice under drive from the resilient member, the thrust device then being inactive, while in the open position, the stud opens, the dispensing orifice under drive from the thrust device.

Abstract: The Applicator Means comprises a plurality of identical applicators joined to a freestanding base by frangible couplings. Each applicator is configured to receive a sample of substance or preparation, i.e., lipstick, or such, by deposition on a stub end thereof. A removable cap is set over the stub end of each applicator to shield such substance or preparation as will be deposited on the stub end. The base, couplings and applicators constitute a single, unitized molding. The Method defines the steps to be exercised in depositing a preparation (i.e., the product sample of lipstick, or the like) on the stub ends of the applicators, simultaneously.
