  • Patent number: 11005289
Abstract: An uninterruptible power supply for providing an output power signal to a load comprises a ferroresonant transformer, a resonant capacitor, and an inverter. The resonant capacitor is operatively connected to the ferroresonant transformer. The inverter is operatively connected to the ferroresonant transformer. The inverter is configured to generate the output power signal based on at least one inverter control signal such that the output power signal is a quasi square wave having at least one change of phase and an upper limit. The at least one inverter control signal is held in an OFF state during at least a portion of the at least one change of phase, pulse-width modulated during at least a portion of the at least one change of phase, and held in an ON state when the output power signal is at the upper limit.

  • Patent number: 10592869
Abstract: Methods and structure for presenting and analyzing schedule data. One exemplary embodiment is a system that includes an interface and a controller. The controller is able to identify a schedule comprising multiple events occurring over a length of time, to select a cyclic period within the length of time, and to generate a representation of the length of time as a view of a three dimensional (3D) helix wherein each revolution of the 3D helix corresponds with an iteration of the cyclic period. The controller is also able to determine an event location for each of the events along a path defined by the 3D helix, and to direct the interface to transmit instructions for presenting the 3D helix and the event locations via a display.

  • Publication number: 20170345114
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for coordinating a fleet of vehicles that engage in medical transport. One embodiment is a system that includes a fleet control server that receives a request for medical transport of a patient, and that identifies a fleet of vehicles that provide medical transport. The system also includes crew devices at the vehicles that each report a position of a corresponding vehicle, and a reporting server. The fleet control server selects a vehicle in the fleet to perform medical transport of the patient based on the position of the vehicle in relation to other vehicles in the fleet, and determines an interested party that is distinct from the patient. The reporting server reports selection of the vehicle to the interested party, and transmits vehicle tracking data to the interested party in real time as the vehicle services the request.

  • Patent number: 9767177
Abstract: A method and system for data recovery in a parallel database system in which data stored in the database has been corrupted by a transaction or operation. Transaction log files corresponding to each node of the parallel database are scanned to determine an operation that caused the corruption of the stored data. Information corresponding to the corrupted data before the operation causing the corruption is then generated based on the scanned transaction log. The operation responsible for corrupting the data is then rolled back, and the corrupted data is replaced with the original data stored in the database prior to the corruption.
