The container comprises a first chamber defining a first volume, the first chamber containing the detergent product, the first chamber being accessible through an opening. A lock permits opening or closing of the first chamber. A data processing apparatus comprises a processor, a power source connected to the processor, a sensor connected to the processor and a memory connected to the processor, the sensor being configured to sense the opening or closing of the first chamber by the lock to produce output lock data, the processor being configured to receive the lock data from the sensor.
