  • Publication number: 20190316773
Abstract: A thermal oxidizer (50) employing an oxidation mixer (51), an oxidation chamber (52), a retention chamber (53) and a heat dissipater (54) forming a fluid flow path for thermal oxidation of a waste gas. In operation, the oxidation mixer (51) facilitates a combustible mixture of the waste gas and an oxidant into an combustible waste gas stream. A heating element (55) of the oxidation chamber (52) facilitates a primary combustion reaction of the combustible waste gas stream into an oxygenated waste gas stream. The retention chamber (53) facilitates a secondary combustion reaction of the oxygenated waste gas stream into oxidized gases. The heat dissipater (54) atmospherically vents of the oxidized gases. An oxidization controller (61) may be employed to regulate the operation of the thermal oxidizer (50), and a data logger (63) and a data reporter (65) may be employed for respectively logging and remotely reporting a regulation of the thermal oxidizer (50) by the oxidation controller (61).

  • Publication number: 20190222926
Abstract: Embodiments are described for a high-frequency waveguide that improves the performance of large-scale surround sound and immersive audio environments. A horn waveguide is configured to be asymmetric about one of a vertical axis and horizontal axis of the waveguide to form an asymmetric horn waveguide. A spherical enclosure surrounds the asymmetric horn waveguide to form a horn speaker, and a three-axis mounting system is configured to fix the horn speaker to one of a wall or ceiling surface of the venue, wherein the mounting system facilitates rotating the horn speaker to a location that provides maximum coverage of the venue within the passband of the asymmetric horn waveguide.

  • Patent number: 7913512
Abstract: A heat exchanger comprises a first tube having a first fin of a first predetermined height extending outward therefrom. A second tube is vertically spaced above the first tube. The second tube has a second fin of a second predetermined height extending outward therefrom. A fan is positioned to force ambient air across the second tube and then across the first tube to heat a fluid flowing therethrough. A method of heating a fluid comprises sequentially flowing the fluid upward through a plurality of vertically spaced rows of substantially horizontal tubes, and forcing air downward over the plurality of tubes to heat the fluid.

  • Patent number: 7020720
Abstract: A first publically routable IP address and a second publically routable IP address (bypass IP address) is firstly received from an Internet Service Provider (ISP) that forms part of a public network. An instruction to assign the second publically routable IP address to the host computer is then received. The first publically routable IP address is assigned to a Network Address Translation (NAT) service on the gateway and the second publically routable IP address is allocated to the host computer. Finally, the second publically routable IP address is allocated to the host computer. This allows the host computer to be configured to enable it to receive unsolicited packets from the public network through the gateway. A gateway and computer program product are also provided.
