  • Patent number: 10471811
Abstract: A movable component of a motor vehicle, for example a tailgate can be moved between two end positions by a drive unit of a moving device. A release energy for the drive unit, which is to be used to release the component at the start of a movement from a starting position, is selected as a function of the starting position.

  • Patent number: 10205546
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for operating a radio system of a motor vehicle. In one embodiment, the method comprises: specifying an area surrounding the motor vehicle, determining which digital radio stations within this area can be received error-free using a receiving device of the radio system, and displaying only those digital radio stations which can be received error-free within this area. The invention furthermore relates to a radio system for a motor vehicle and to a motor vehicle with a radio system.

  • Patent number: 10095566
Abstract: An operator control element in a motor vehicle generates an activation signal as a function of the activation of the operating element, and a control unit receives the activation signal and measures a signal length of the activation signal, and signals the activation if the signal length becomes greater than a predetermined debounce time. Despite possible incorrect triggering of the activation signal owing to voltage fluctuations, the debounce time is to be short. The control unit determines for this purpose an operating parameter, and on the basis of the operating parameter it is detected that a supply voltage, made available at the control unit, satisfies a predetermined instability criterion, and when the instability criterion is satisfied the control unit delays the measurement of the signal length for a predetermined blocking time.

  • Patent number: 9567791
Abstract: A drive device of a window positioning device positions a window of a vehicle to selectively cover a window opening. The drive device is operated by a control device. When the window is fully closed, the drive device is operated (a) in an opening direction and then (b) in a closing direction. The operation of the drive device is carried out depending on a drive parameter. In a), using a first value of the drive parameter, the drive device is brought into a first reduced load position, and in b), using a second value of the drive parameter, the drive device is brought into a second reduced load position in which the window positioning device is in a reduced load state. A control device and a window positioning device are used.

  • Patent number: 9511744
Abstract: A remote control device for a motor vehicle has a transmitting unit to transmit at least one signal, for remote control of at least one component of the motor vehicle. A switch effects transmission of the signal by operating the switch. A position detection device is provided, by which an actual position of the remote control device relative to a specifiable reference position can be detected. The signal is transmitted on the basis of the detected actual position. A method operates such a remote control device.

  • Patent number: 9196102
Abstract: A method for operating a starting system for a car includes detecting locking of the car, checking whether a portable code transmitter of the starting system is inside a monitoring region, deactivating a starting device of the starting system if the portable code transmitter is not inside the monitoring region, receiving an unlocking signal and identity signal from the portable code transmitter by the starting system on the car, checking whether identity data received with the identity signal matches identity data stored in the starting system, and activating the starting device if the identity data matches the identity data stored in the starting system.

  • Patent number: 9150142
Abstract: In a method of controlling different lighting functions in a vehicle, activation of another one of the lighting functions is dependent on an actual speed of the vehicle, when manually switching from a currently activated one of the lighting functions to the other one of the lighting functions. In particular, when a low beam is automatically activated and a predefined speed is exceeded, activation of a parking light is barred while the low beam remains activated.

  • Patent number: 9007185
Abstract: A method and apparatus teach a plurality of keys to an authorization device in a vehicle. The keys that are in a reception range of a transmission unit of the authorization device receive a test signal from the authorization device. The respective key ascertains a key-specific time window from at least one signal parameter of the test signal that is dependent on the physical location of the key, during which the respective key transmits a response signal that can be received by the transmission unit and recorded by the authorization device.
