    Abstract: A method for demonstrating optical properties of a lens for spectacle glasses is disclosed in which a demonstration tool displays an optical property of the lens. The demonstration tool includes a light source and a light sensor receiving light from the light source. Placing a lens in the beam path between the light source and the light sensor changes the readout from the light sensor and the change in readout is converted into an optical property of the lens. An observer sees the optical property of the lens on a display.
