  • Publication number: 20250065529
Abstract: A method for shredding a scrap skeleton produced as a machining product of separating machining of a plate-like workpiece and having a scrap skeleton main plane is provided. The method includes creating an incomplete joint having a course along a separating line running in a longitudinal direction. The scrap skeleton is machined for separation along the separating line. A breakable residual connection arranged along the separating line is established between a first scrap skeleton part and a second scrap skeleton part. The method further includes, after the incomplete joint is created, deflecting the first scrap skeleton part and the second scrap skeleton part relative to one another perpendicularly to the scrap skeleton main plane so that the residual connection between the first scrap skeleton part and the second scrap skeleton part breaks, thereby separating the first scrap skeleton part and the second scrap skeleton part from one another.

  • Publication number: 20250065388
Abstract: A method for processing a plastically deformable workpiece includes driving the workpiece using a workpiece drive so that the workpiece is moved to a feeding drive. driving the workpiece using a feeding drive so that a partial length of the workpiece is conveyed to a working region to be processed, driving the workpiece using the workpiece drive while the feeding drive has been stopped so that an intermediate length of the workpiece is arranged between the workpiece drive and the feeding drive. An advancement speed is adjusted such that the intermediate length is shorter than or equal to a maximum intermediate length. While the workpiece is being conveyed into the working region, a feeding speed of the workpiece generated by the feeding drive and the advancement speed generated by the workpiece drive are adjusted such that the intermediate length is shorter than or equal to the maximum intermediate length.

  • Publication number: 20250052814
Abstract: A method is for teaching a machine learning system to predict failure probabilities of chips on a wafer. The method is based on a prediction of final test yields depending on wafer-level test measurements by the machine learning system. The machine learning system predicts the failure probabilities of the chips depending on the wafer-level test measurements, and the predicted failure probabilities are aggregated to the predicted final test yields. The machine learning system is trained, such that a math difference between predicted final test yields and final test yields from a training data set is minimized. Differences between the predicted final test yields and final test yields from a training data set are minimized.

  • Patent number: 12214182
Abstract: An implantable pump system is provided, suitable for use as a left ventricular assist device (LVAD) system, having an implantable pump, a battery, a controller, and a programmer. The implantable pump includes a flexible membrane coupled to an actuator assembly via a skirt that extends toward the inlet of the pump and curves to guide blood toward the outlet. The actuator assembly is magnetically engageable with electromagnetic coils, so that when the electromagnetic coils are energized, the actuator assembly causes wavelike undulations to propagate along the flexible membrane to propel blood from the inlet, across the skirt, and through the outlet of the implantable pump. The controller may be programmed by a programmer to operate at frequencies and duty cycles that mimic physiologic flow rates and pulsatility while operating in an efficient manner that avoids thrombus formation, hemolysis and/or platelet activation.

  • Publication number: 20250020714
Abstract: A method for estimating an uncertainty of an assignment rule that assigns first variables from a first set of first variables to second variables from a second set of second variables. The method includes: ascertaining inaccuracies of a machine learning system trained with the assignment rule, wherein the inaccuracies are ascertained by means of a difference between the second variables predicted by the machine learning system depending on the first variables and the second variables assigned to the first variables according to the assignment rule; ascertaining a covariance matrix depending on the ascertained inaccuracies; ascertaining a likelihood matrix and normalizing the likelihood matrix by dividing the value of the likelihood matrix by the corresponding column sum.

  • Publication number: 20250018886
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to an on-board electrical subsystem which has an overall electrical supply circuit having at least a first actuator, a load, a first voltage source, a second voltage source, and at least one switching device. A total power requirement of the first actuator is determined. If the total power requirement exceeds a first power threshold value, then a first supply subcircuit and a second supply subcircuit are formed. The first supply subcircuit comprises the first actuator and the first voltage source to provide a high voltage amplitude to the first actuator. The first supply subcircuit and the second supply subcircuit are electrically separated from one another. The second supply subcircuit supplies a standard voltage amplitude to the load. The separation of the first voltage source from the second voltage source and the load avoids corresponding power losses.

  • Publication number: 20240377043
Abstract: Illumination device for a motor vehicle headlight. The device has a light source, a light-permeable body (LPB), a light injection element for injecting light from the light source into the LPB, and a projection device. Light from the light source forms a light distribution with a cut-off line formed by a screen edge of a screen device, which is formed by a boundary surface of the LPB. A sign light light source (SLLS) and a further sign light light injection element (SLLIE) associated with the SLLS are provided. The SLLIE forms the light emitted by the SLLS into a third light beam and directs the third light beam onto the boundary surface, which re-enter the LPB and are projected by the projection optics device as a sign light light beam into a region of the light distribution lying above the cut-off line and are displayed as sign light light distribution.
