Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a wireless device may buffer uplink communications. However, such approaches may be improved. An access point (AP) may receive, from a station, uplink traffic of a traffic flow for forwarding to a backhaul network via a backhaul link. The AP may monitor a buffer of the AP to determine that a quantity of buffered uplink traffic received from the station exceeds a buffer quota, the buffer quota set for the traffic flow based on a traffic throughput capacity of the backhaul link and a throughput parameter for the traffic flow. The AP may modify, based on the quantity of buffered uplink traffic exceeding the buffer quota, an uplink communication scheme to reduce the quantity of uplink traffic from the station.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods which generate and display a control overlay for user interface elements such as checkboxes and the like. The control overlay provides a larger selection area than an underlying user interface element. In one example, the method may include receiving a request associated with a user interface element from among a plurality of user interface elements displayed within a user interface, the user interface element comprising a selectable area, displaying a control overlay for the user interface element via the user interface, the control overlay being partially translucent and comprising a selectable area that is larger than and encompasses the selectable area of the user interface element, detecting an input command via the selectable area of the control overlay, and in response to the detection of the input command, selecting the user interface element displayed via the user interface.

Abstract: Provided are systems and methods directed to a pop-up visualization that provides a view of data values currently hidden on a display screen. In one example, the method may include displaying data values from a subset of columns of a database table via a user interface, displaying a plurality of pop-up indicators via the user interface, where each pop-up indicator is displayed within a different row of the displayed data values, detecting a selection of a pop-up indicator from among the plurality of pop-up indicators corresponding to a row of displayed data values, and in response to the detecting, initializing a display of a pop-up visualization which includes one or more additional data values from a second subset of columns of the database table that are not included in the row of displayed data values.

Abstract: Provided is a software process that can dynamically identify and display a plurality of category values of an electronic file based on a file name assigned to the electronic file. Thus, the software can automatically populate a user interface with details about content within the electronic file based on the file name. In one example, the method may include receiving an electronic computer file having a file name, identifying a subset of characters within the file name which correspond to a data category, mapping a value of the identified subset of characters to a category value in the data category, displaying an identifier of the electronic file on a user interface, and dynamically populating a predefined field within the user interface corresponding to the data category with the mapped category value.

Abstract: Provided is a keyboard navigation menu which provides navigation within a software application using keyboard commands instead of mouse/cursor based inputs. The keyboard activation menu can improve upon traditional mouse-based menus which often include hidden tabs or require multiple mouse inputs. In one example, the method may include displaying, via a user interface, a keyboard navigation menu comprising a plurality of different keyboard inputs that when pressed navigate a view of the user interface to a plurality of pages of a software application, respectively, detecting a keyboard input from among the plurality of different keyboard inputs which corresponds to a second page from among the plurality of pages of the software application, and changing a view of the user interface from the first page to the second page of the software application that corresponds to the detected keyboard input.

Abstract: A method for determining part wear, such as using a wear metric, includes receiving, from a sensor, sensor data representing a surface of a wear part. The method further includes determining distances between measured points in the sensor data and points on one or more part models, which part models may include new part models and/or worn or wear limit part models. The method further includes using a bounding model that at least partially envelopes the part model(s) and the measured points to determine a direction along which the distances are measured. The method may also include quantifying wear using the measured distances.

Abstract: Described is a multi-part device for keeping consumables such as dietary supplements in separate, non-contaminatable, individually accessible container compartments. The device of the invention can also be used for storage of other items, as well. The top of the device is removable, has several interconnected lids that are attached and retained to the container portion of the device by a rotable cap, the position of which selects which lid, if any, can be opened by a user. The compartment lids separate the contents stored in the various compartments so as to keep the contents of each compartment from being contaminated by items or materials placed in other compartments or from the environment. The safe can be locked shut by rotating the cap to predetermined positions.

Abstract: A method and device are disclosed that establish secure electronic communication between an infrastructure device and a remote provider of services to an autonomous vehicle. In response to the autonomous vehicle driving within a predetermined distance of the infrastructure device, the remote provider sends authorizing credentials to the infrastructure device and the autonomous vehicle. Using the authorizing credentials, the infrastructure device and the autonomous vehicle establishing a trusted communication. Through the trusted communication, the infrastructure device sends to the autonomous vehicle a data set including coordinate data of at least one road user.
