    Abstract: Outer support bracket for an outer support shaft of an automobile sun visor. The bracket having a mounting member which can be fastened to a surface of the body of the car. An introduction slot is provided between an arm on the mounting member and the mounting member itself for the introduction of the outer support shaft. A locking element which can pivot about an axis spaced from the introduction slot between a locking position and an unlocking position. A locking projection closes the introduction slot in the locking position and releases the outer support shaft in the locking position.
