  • Publication number: 20200095558
Abstract: The present invention related to a method for producing or propagating an engineered bacteriophage, comprising the steps of: providing a functional synthetic genome of an engineered bacteriophage being able to infect a target bacterium; providing a recipient bacterium; transforming the recipient bacterium with the functional synthetic genome in a transformation step, yielding a transformed recipient bacterium; incubating the transformed recipient bacterium in a first incubation step, wherein the engineered bacteriophage is propagated within the transformed recipient bacterium; and further incubating the transformed recipient bacterium or the propagated engineered bacteriophage released from the transformed recipient bacterium with the target bacterium in a second incubation step, wherein the propagated engineered bacteriophage infects the target bacterium and is further propagated within the target bacterium, and wherein the recipient bacterium is a cell wall-deficient bacterium.

  • Patent number: 10278749
Abstract: The invention relates to Implant device (1) comprising a rigid element (10) being designed to be fastened to a femur implant (20) in a fastened state of said rigid element (10), wherein particularly said femur implant (20) is an intramedullary nail or a femoral stem. According to the invention said rigid element (10) is designed as a hook-shaped plate (10) for encompassing the greater trochanter (3) of the femur (2) at least in sections when being arranged in said fastened state and when said femur implant (20) is arranged in or on the femur (2) as intended.

  • Publication number: 20040074372
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for producing a series of percussions in close succession on at least a percussion instrument such as a bass drum by a single operator. The operator activates successively and repetitively with the leg, then with the foot corresponding to two mobile parts comprising each a beater, adapted to strike the percussion instrument to produce cycle of at least four successive impacts separated in pairs by a time interval less than a quarter of a second.
