  • Patent number: 7999530
Abstract: A power supply with and input and output includes an amplifier configured to set an output voltage of the power supply output equal to a fixed input voltage for the power supply. The power supply has a first output stage coupled to the amplifier and configured to source and sink current at the output of the power supply between a first voltage rail and a third voltage rail. The power supply has a second output stage coupled to the amplifier and configured to source and sink current to the output of the power supply between a second voltage rail and the third voltage rail. A selection device is configured to enable the first and second output stages based on a selection input signal. The selection device is situated outside of the first and the second output stages.

  • Publication number: 20110168140
Abstract: A method and system for fuel vapor control in a hybrid vehicle (HEV). The HEV fuel vapor recovery system includes a fuel tank isolation valve, which is normally closed to isolate storage of refueling from storage of diurnal vapors. The method for fuel vapor control includes selectively actuating the fuel tank isolation valve during interrelated routines for refueling, fuel vapor purging, and emission system leak detection diagnostics to improve regulation of pressure and vacuum the HEV fuel vapor recovery system.

  • Publication number: 20110140377
Abstract: A wheel system includes a frame, a wheel rotatably mounted to the frame, and a lifter. The lifter defines a first end and a second end. The first end of the lifter is pivotably mounted to the frame, and the second end of the lifter defines a contact surface. The contact surface of the lifter is adapted to establish initial contact with a vertically disposed obstacle, and thereafter the lifter is configured to pivot about the first end such that the wheel is lifted and translated over the vertical obstacle.

  • Publication number: 20110095818
Abstract: Systems and methods for managing process and temperature variations for on-chip sense resistors are disclosed. The system includes a circuit that can leverage a linear gm circuit in order to provide linear gains (positive gains and/or negative gains). The linearity of the circuit enables compensation for temperature and process variations across an entire range of current (positive to negative). A control signal is generated by using a linear gm amplifier and a replica resistor, which is substantially similar to the on chip resistor. The control signal is used to control the gain of a disparate linear gm amplifier within a compensation circuit, which provides an offset voltage to compensate for the variation in resistance of the on chip resistor.

  • Patent number: 7925727
Abstract: A mediator for efficiently exchanging management data in a hierarchical management network for managing network elements of a data transport network partitions resources of the network elements among a plurality of management representations of the network elements and selectively forwards management data associated with respective management representations to a higher level of the hierarchy. The mediator modifies the management data so that the higher level (i.e. a northbound element management system or a network management system) receives the management data in a view consistent with the management representation of the network element. Client-based management representations may be created to permit clients to manage selected resources of a network element, and testing-based management representations may be created to facilitate concurrent testing of a network element.

  • Patent number: 7734844
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a trusted interface unit and a method of making and using the same. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method of transmitting data on a network may include receiving data from a partition within a node on the network. This node may be configured to transmit data associated with a number of sensitivity levels. According to one embodiment of the invention, these sensitivity levels may be classification levels. One method of transmission of data may include determining the identity of the partition that originated the data within the node. Furthermore, a label may be added to the data received from within the node and the data may be encrypted with a key that may be uniquely associated with the label on the data. After encryption, the data may be transmitted on the network. Additional methods including the reception of data are disclosed. Various node and network architectures are disclosed implementing the methods and apparatus of the present invention.

  • Publication number: 20100035709
Abstract: A two part arrow employing a tracking device used to track wounded game animals. When the hunting broadhead engages a game animal, a separating slide mechanism that encircles the anterior arrow segment slides toward the rear of the arrow catching the lever component of the release mechanism secured inside the posterior arrow segment releasing the broadhead and anterior arrow segment from the posterior arrow segment. A retainer housed in the anterior arrow segment springs open and engages the animal. An attachment device connects the retainer to the release mechanism ensuring that the posterior arrow segment and the signaling component located in the posterior arrow segment remain tethered to the animal.
