  • Publication number: 20230086252
Abstract: This disclosure provides an improve methods and systems for performing Femtosecond Laser Assisted Cataract Surgery. By creating an inner radius in the eye capsule and lens fragmentation channels fluidically connected to the inner radius, then using viscoelastic fluid to separate the cataract, internal pressure is reduced on the peripheral portion of the cataract during the surgical procedure. Further, laser settings are oriented to permit instruments to break apart cataract nucleus into pieces with reduced ultrasound energy. The result of this improved method is a lessened likelihood of anterior capsular tears and a reduced chance of complications.

  • Publication number: 20190194046
Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamic sanitization control are provided. The system determines an ORP minimum set point value and a free chlorine maximum set point value. The system then measures current ORP and free chlorine levels, and determines whether the measured free chlorine is greater than or equal to the free chlorine maximum set point value and whether the measured current ORP level is less than the ORP minimum set point value. The system adjusts chlorine based on free chlorine levels if the measured free chlorine is greater than or equal to the free chlorine maximum set point value and if the measured current ORP level is less than the ORP minimum set point value. Additionally, the system can adjust chlorine based on ORP levels if either (1) the measured free chlorine is less than the free chlorine maximum set point value or (2) the measured current ORP level greater than or equal to the ORP minimum set point value.

  • Patent number: 9652594
Abstract: A medication storage and dispensing workstation for use in a medication management system administering the inventory and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies in a healthcare environment is disclosed. The workstation incorporates a linear drawer assembly having a plurality of discrete, removable, storage modules for containing medications and/or other medical supplies. The storage modules are arranged in a linear array extending longitudinally along the travel path of the linear drawer assembly. Each storage module, in turn, comprises a drawer that is extensible laterally relative to the linear arrangement of the storage modules. As such, the drawer assemblies comprise a compartmentalized “drawer-in-drawer” arrangement that provides an efficient use of storage space and enables a user to utilize the workstation in a workspace having a smaller footprint that traditional storage cabinet apparatus.
