  • Publication number: 20210232724
Abstract: A method for defining a route for a connecting medium through a three-dimensional building, involving modeling the three-dimensional building as a two-dimensional array of panels, wherein any two panels in the array of panels are connected panels if a connecting medium can be directly routed from one panel to the other panel, a set of coordinates for each of one or more panels in the array of panels where a connecting medium can enter or exit the panel, and a union of the respective set of coordinates for each of the one or more connected panels in the array of panels where a connecting medium can be routed between the connected panels. The process selects one or more panels in the array through which to route the connecting medium based on the unions of the respective set of coordinates for each of the one or more connected panels in the array of panels.

  • Publication number: 20180268336
Abstract: A system obtains a variance in a probability distribution of a building construction process metric. The system selects one or more of the plurality of random variables on which the building construction process metric is a dependent random variable, assigns a value to each selected random variable, obtains from a database that stores probability distributions for the plurality of random variables a probability distribution for each selected random variable, and determines a variance in the probability distribution for the building construction process metric based on a calculation involving the assigned value, and the obtained probability distribution, for each selected random variable. When the determined variance exceeds a maximum target variance, the system adjusts the value assigned to at least one of the selected random variables and/or select a new one or more of the plurality of random variables on which the building construction process metric is a dependent random variable and repeats the process.

  • Publication number: 20130231060
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatus, processors and computer-readable media include a radiated testing module that executes a predetermined radiated performance test on a wireless device. The test dictates various performance-related parameters to measure and log at each of a plurality of predetermined positions. Further, the wireless device receives synchronization information operable to enable synchronization between the logged measurements and each of the positions. The synchronized log allows the wireless device, or another apparatus, to determine a radiated performance characteristic based on a predetermined analysis protocol. Further, the described embodiments allow for the determination of several radiated performance characteristics in a single test, using a single, unaltered wireless device.
