Abstract: Data processing apparatus for use when editing digitised image clips. An image storage device stores digitised image data corresponding to a plurality of image frames displayable at sequential times to form a clip. A manually operable input device allows a user to generate location data defining a first location of a selected region within a first selected one of the image frames, and a second different location of a selected region within a second selected one of the image frames. A processor calculates a location of a calculated region within image frames between the first and the second selected image frames wherein the calculated location of the calculated regions gradually changes from the first location to the second location. Pixel data is selected from within the calculated region of image frames between the first and the second selected image frames to generate new displayable frames of a new clip.
