  • Publication number: 20240074829
Abstract: Tissue access devices and methods of using the same are disclosed. The devices can have a sensor configured to occlude a flow path by deflecting a membrane into the flow path when the devices become dislodged from tissue. The sensor can be configured to partially or fully occlude the flow path. The sensor can have a spring. The spring can be biased to move the sensor from a sensor first configuration to a sensor second configuration when a force applied by the sensor first surface against a non-sensor surface changes from a first force to a second force less than the first force. The membrane can be deflected into the flow path when the sensor is in the sensor second configuration.

Abstract: Tissue access devices and methods of using and making the same are disclosed. The devices can have a sensor configured to occlude a flow path by deflecting a membrane into the flow path when the devices become dislodged from tissue. The sensor can be configured to partially or fully occlude the flow path. The sensor can have a spring, can be a spring, or may not have a spring. The sensor can be static or can be moved from a sensor first configuration to a sensor second configuration. The membrane can be deflected into the flow path when the sensor is in the sensor second configuration.

  • Patent number: 11029666
Abstract: A method of fabricating process-equivalent test specimens to an additively manufactured component includes generating a processing history model of a component, dividing the component into regions based on input data variations in processing history, wherein each region is characterized by an identified range of input data, determining additive manufacturing processing parameters needed to additively manufacture one or more test specimens that each mimic the processing history in one of the regions, and fabricating the one or more test specimens using the processing parameters determined.

  • Patent number: 10807214
Abstract: An apparatus for finishing a component includes at least one articulating arm having a shot peening apparatus and at least one laser source. A plurality of laser redirectors are configured to redirect a laser originating from the laser source. Each laser redirector in the plurality of laser redirectors is mounted to a first rail and a second rail. A controller is controllably coupled to the articulating arm and each of the rails such that output signals from the controller control a position of the articulating arm, and a position of each laser redirector in the plurality of laser redirectors.
