Abstract: The present application relates to a bioactive composition comprising a arcuoid substrate and a polymeric film deposited on the surface of the substrate. The bioactive composition can control the patterning of a cell. The present application also relates to a method of modulating the patterning of a cell. This particular method comprises contacting the cell with the bioactive composition. The present application also relates to a method of producing the bioactive composition as well as a bioactive substrates produced by this particular method.
