    Abstract: A cover assembly for a paper receptacle comprising a molded plastic lid and a paper insert secured within the lid. The lid and the insert cooperate to define an air space therebetween. A vent opening in the lid communicates with the air space and is out of registry with another vent opening through the insert which also communicates with the air space.
