  • Publication number: 20220329083
Abstract: A battery array comprising a plurality of battery modules each having one or more battery cells. The battery array comprises a plurality of switching elements configured to switch the one or more battery cells in circuit and out of circuit with the battery array, and a memory storing a connection map indicating an identifier associated with each of the plurality of battery modules, a location of one or more electrical outputs of the battery array, and interconnections between each of the plurality of battery modules. The battery array also comprises a module management unit coupled to the memory that controls the plurality of switching elements. The module management unit is in electronic communication with remaining battery modules of the battery array based on a data mesh architecture.

  • Patent number: 10418685
Abstract: One embodiment disclosed herein is related to a device for pointing a radiating element. The device includes an aligned radiating surface; a hinge that is circumferentially mounted to a rear side of the aligned radiating surface, the hinge configured to change azimuth of the aligned radiating surface; and a Tubular Universal joint (TU-joint) having one end coupled to a rear side of the aligned radiating surface and a second end coupled to a base, the TU-joint being configured to change an elevation of the aligned radiating surface. Another embodiment is related to a Tubular Universal-joint (TU-joint). In the embodiment, the TU-joint includes a hollow tube having a first end and a second end; a plurality of slits along the surface of the tube; and a plurality of members between the plurality of slits, each of the plurality of members configured to bear a portion of a load of the TU-joint, wherein the TU-joint is configured to be axially and torsionally stiff while being bendable.

  • Publication number: 20140246109
Abstract: The invention relates to a protective sheath comprising an assembly of at least one electrically non-conductive thread, referred to as a core thread, which contributes to the final shape given to the sheath, and electrically conductive threads, as well as at least one protective film combined with all or part of one of the surfaces of the sheath, and characterized in that the protective film is combined by welding. Such assembly of the film by welding and not sewing ensures that the sheath is not damaged during its manufacturing.

  • Patent number: 7270580
Abstract: An electrode assembly for use with a living subject includes a substrate having first and second openings extending therethrough, and a first terminal at least partially received within the first opening. The first terminal includes an end portion having a first size. At least a portion of the first terminal configured to conduct electrical current. A second terminal is at least partially received within the second opening. The second terminal includes an end portion having a second size that is different than the first size of the first terminal end portion. At least a portion of the second terminal is configured to conduct electrical current. The assembly also includes a first electrolytic element configured to transfer electrical current between the skin of a living subject and the first terminal, and a second electrolytic element configured to transfer electrical current between the skin of a living subject and the second terminal.
