  • Publication number: 20250018178
Abstract: A medical electrode device for implantation into a patient comprises a carrier element formed from an electrically insulating material, a contact element arranged on the carrier element and comprising a contact portion for coupling to tissue in an implanted state of the medical electrode device, and an electrical supply line connected to the contact element. The contact element comprises first and second fastening sections, the first and second fastening sections arranged at a distance with respect to each other along a length direction, and the electrical supply line connected to the contact element at the first fastening section and the second fastening section such that the electrical supply line is arranged at a distance with respect to the contact portion along a height direction oriented perpendicularly to the length direction. A portion of the carrier element extends through a space in between the contact portion and the electrical supply line.

  • Patent number: 12023485
Abstract: An electrode contact for an electrode lead for neurostimulation comprises a contact body including a contact surface for contacting human or animal neural tissue. The electrode contact furthermore comprises an arm section for contacting at least one electrical supply lead, wherein the arm section, originating from the contact body, extends laterally in a first spatial direction which runs parallel to a main extension plane of the contact surface. The arm section includes at least one cut-out for guiding through the at least one electrical supply lead.

  • Publication number: 20220338776
Abstract: A medical electrode device for implantation comprises a carrier formed from an electrically insulating material and defining a surface extending along a plane of extension, and at least one electrode arranged on the carrier for emitting an electrical stimulation signal and/or receiving an electrical sense signal. The at least one electrode comprises first and section wall sections. Said first wall section, in a cross-section along a cross-sectional plane perpendicular to said plane of extension, extends straight along a perpendicular direction with respect to said plane of extension or at an oblique angle with respect to said perpendicular direction, the first wall section in contact with the carrier electrically insulating material. Said second wall section, in said cross-section along said cross-sectional plane perpendicular to said plane of extension, adjoins said first wall section and is curved, the second wall section not in contact with the carrier electrically insulating material.
