Options presented for selection include suppression of the printing of the paper receipt in favor of an electronic receipt transmitted to a communication reference of the user, printing a mini paper receipt in addition to transmitting an electronic receipt, and/or printing the full paper receipt at the transaction terminal.

The transaction handler identifies offer information relevant to the payment transaction and provides an authorization response containing the offer information, prior to communication with an issuer processor for the payment transaction. Resilient disc engaging clips (30) on a rear end wall (17) of the inner carrier (5) resiliently urges the compact disc (2) against corresponding abutment members (33) on the front end wall (16) for securing the compact disc (2) against sideward sliding from the disc storing area (20). The combination of the disc engaging clips (30) and the guide plates (25, 26) avoid the need for a central locating spigot for engaging a central opening of the compact disc (2).

Abstract: A graphical user interface for presenting media content having a series of representative pictorial images corresponding to various selected media publications. The interface further includes a metaphorical graphical representation of a rack shown as supporting the pictorial or thumbnail images of the media publications. Upon selection of a desired pictorial image, the selected pictorial image is brought to the forefront of the graphical rack representation to simulate taking a selected media publication off-the-rack. A series of content links are then presented to a user corresponding to the content of interest contained in the selected media publication. The user may click-on and select a content link allowing the user to browse through contents of the selected media publication. In addition, various methods are also provided for presenting electronically stored media content by visually depicting selected publications resting on a graphical rack representation as if arranged in a retail-store type display.
