  • Publication number: 20240095797
Abstract: System for order-receipt processing of an eyeglass lens, including: a receiver configured to receive order data of eyeglass lens, to store a catalog of eyeglass lens classes, which each are defined by a fixed number of predetermined and freely selectable order parameters and differ from each other in the number of freely selectable order parameters, and to classify the order data on the basis of the catalog of eyeglass lens classes, a processor configured to process the order data, to store only the highest eyeglass lens classes of the catalog of eyeglass lens classes, to select one of the highest eyeglass lens classes, to match the order data to the selected highest eyeglass lens class, to generate a respective digital reproduction of the eyeglass lens based on a calculation model and the adapted order data, and a communication device connecting the receiver and the processor.

  • Patent number: 10426981
Abstract: A deployment unit for an avalanche rescue system with an actuating handle has a coupling piece and a coupling element that can be connected to a function unit of the avalanche rescue system. The coupling piece and the coupling element are displaceable in a coupling channel in a handle holder of the deployment unit and are held in coupling connection by the coupling channel. The coupling connection is releasable when the coupling piece, the coupling element or both exit(s) from the coupling channel.

  • Patent number: 7941544
Abstract: A communication manager for web-based applications receives indications of application time outs via a callback mechanism. During session initiation, the communication manager provides a termination address to an application along with a session ID. If the session times out due to inactivity, the application may signal the communication manager that the session ID is invalid by sending a message to the termination address. Alternatively, when a communication manager establishes communication sessions for several applications with a common external terminal, the communication manager may receive messages identifying terminal activity at one of the applications and may signal to the other applications to keep their sessions active.
