  • Publication number: 20240132059
Abstract: A method and system for collision avoidance that goes beyond automatic steering and braking. A trained artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) system is used to detect an impending impact event that exceeds a predetermined severity threshold based on received sensor and vehicle operational data. Upon detecting such an impending impact event, vehicle systems are deployed to avoid or lessen the severity of the impending impact event. These vehicle systems include automatic steering and braking, and automatic tire flattening and vehicle anchor deployment which are intended to stop or slow the vehicle before impact.

  • Patent number: 11941172
Abstract: A method for training an eye tracking model is disclosed, as well as a corresponding system and storage medium. The eye tracking model is adapted to predict eye tracking data based on sensor data from a first eye tracking sensor. The method comprises receiving sensor data obtained by the first eye tracking sensor at a time instance and receiving reference eye tracking data for the time instance generated by an eye tracking system comprising a second eye tracking sensor. The reference eye tracking data is generated by the eye tracking system based on sensor data obtained by the second eye tracking sensor at the time instance. The method comprises training the eye tracking model based on the sensor data obtained by the first eye tracking sensor at the time instance and the generated reference eye tracking data.

  • Publication number: 20220227372
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a computer implemented method for operating an autonomous vehicle based on sensor data representative of an area in a driving direction of and in the vicinity of the vehicle. The vehicle is equipped with a control unit adapted to determine if a plurality of detailed actions to be performed by the vehicle successfully may be used for fulfilling a desired general action plan for the vehicle. The present disclosure also relates to a corresponding control system and to a computer program product.

  • Publication number: 20210380349
Abstract: A motion system for grouping articles moving along a conveyor in a longitudinal direction is described, including at least one pusher arranged along the conveyor and being movable in a transverse direction, perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, to push a group of articles off the conveyor in the transverse direction, at least one article guide being movable along the transverse direction to intersect between the articles, when the articles move along the conveyor, whereby the at least one article guide is movable to restrict movement of the group of articles in the longitudinal direction and to guide the movement of the group of articles in the transverse direction when being pushed by the at least one pusher.

  • Patent number: 7930884
Abstract: A manifold for exhaust gases from a motor vehicle engine, includes upper and lower half-shells (18A, 18B) delimiting between them an exhaust gas pipe, and aligned bores designed to be arranged in the extension of the engine exhaust outlets, the half-shells having each a peripheral edge and being attached to each other via at least first segments (20A, 20B) of their peripheral edges welded to each other. The invention is characterized in that there is at least one median plane (P) passing through the bores and traversed at least twice by the first segments (20A, 20B).

  • Patent number: 6804505
Abstract: A method of determining a total call tariff in respect of a call from a Mobile Station currently registered with a foreign network. A total call tariff request is sent from a charging function of the foreign network to a rating node of the mobile telephone subscriber's home network, the message including a call tariff portion of the foreign network. At the rating node, the total call tariff is determined by applying a multiplying factor to the foreign network's tariff portion. The determined total call tariff is then sent to the charging function of the foreign network.

  • Publication number: 20030177088
Abstract: A method of using electronic cash to pay for services obtained from or via a telecommunications network 1. The method comprises storing electronic cash in a memory 3 of or coupled to a user terminal 2, extracting electronic cash from said memory 3 and sending the extracted cash to the telecommunications network 1 inside a signalling message sent over a signalling channel or using a dedicated PDP context.

  • Publication number: 20020098827
Abstract: A method of providing charge information to a mobile station 3 prior to the completion of a connection involving the mobile station 3. The method comprises, during the setup phase of the connection, sending one or more CAI elements from the mobile telecommunications network with which the mobile station 3 is registered, to the mobile station. A cost for the connection, based on the CAI element(s), is presented to the user of the mobile station 3. The user is given an opportunity to abort the connection setup prior to completion of the setup.

  • Publication number: 20010021651
Abstract: A method of generating Call Detail Records (CDRs) for a subscriber 2 of a mobile telecommunications network 1. The method comprises transferring a CDR interval parameter from the Home Location Register (HLR) 6 of said telecommunications network 1 to a serving exchange 4, said CDR interval parameter being associated with the subscriber 2 and defining the intervals at which CDRs are to be generated for the subscriber 2 by said exchange 4. Following the setting up of a connection initiated by the subscriber 2, CDRs are generated at said exchange 4 periodically according to said defined interval.
