  • Patent number: 12465527
Abstract: A device for joining multi-part tampon applicators, in particular three-part tampon applicators, which include at least one outer cylinder and a first inner cylinder, includes at least one joining station with at least one receiving finger for receiving one outer cylinder and one first inner cylinder each, as well as a first inner cylinder supply for loading the at least one receiving finger with at least one first inner cylinder and an outer cylinder supply for loading the at least one receiving finger with at least one outer cylinder. The device further includes a processing station for joining the at least one outer cylinder to the at least one first inner cylinder, and the at least one joining station is arranged radially on a circular disk, in particular so that the at least one receiving finger is oriented essentially radially. A method joins multi-part, in particular three-part, tampon applicators.

  • Publication number: 20160334383
Abstract: The apparatus (1) is used for forming a ball of yarn. It contains a container (2) having an internal volume (21) which is outwardly bounded in the vertical direction partially by an internal wall (31) and in the horizontal direction completely by the internal wall (31). The internal wall (31) has an inlet opening (41) through which the yarn is injectable into the internal volume (21) by means of an air flow. The internal wall (31) is rigid. The internal volume (21) has a downwardly open outlet opening (22) for a yarn ball formed in the internal volume (21). A lower part (33) of the internal wall (31) is inclined downwardly towards the outlet opening (22). By virtue of the rigid construction, the apparatus is simple and cost-effective. Possible problems with moving parts are avoided.

  • Publication number: 20150374938
Abstract: An active substance depot for an inhalation device having a depot body externally sealed in an airtight manner prior to use, comprising at least one segment made from a plastic material, having a flow channel to be unsealed for use, and having at least one active substance carrier provided in the flow channel in which is stored at least one volatile substance at least partially transitioning into the gaseous phase when heated, the active substance carrier being heated for releasing the substance. According to the invention, the plastic material of which the segment of the depot body is made is a polymer from the group of cyclo olefin copolymers, and the segment of the depot body made from the polymer comprises an opening connected to the flow channel, said opening being sealed by a foil made of a second material, and said foil being removed or punctured immediately prior to use.
