  • Patent number: 12130190
Abstract: A load sensing device for a shoe includes a base element having a first side and an opposite second side. The first side has a predefined area. A first load sensing element and a second load sensing element are positioned at the first side of the base element. The first load sensing element is positioned in a first area of the predefined area of the first side, and the second load sensing element is positioned in a second area of the predefined area of the first side. The first load sensing element has a fixed position relative to the second load sensing element during use. The first load sensing element and the second load sensing element are configured to measure a load applied to at least part of the predefined area of the first side.

  • Patent number: 12030271
Abstract: A 3D printed structure of an elastic material having a first wall and a second wall may be provided. In one implementation, the 3D printed structure may include a first layer having a first portion of a first wall part and a first portion of a second wall part. The first portion of the first wall part may include a primary structural layer and the first portion of the second wall part may include a first flexible layer. The 3D printed structure may also include a second layer having a second portion of the first wall part and a second portion of the second wall part. The second portion of the first wall part may include a second flexible layer. The primary structural layer and the first flexible layer may have a first rigidity and a second rigidity, respectively, the first rigidity being greater than the second rigidity.

  • Patent number: 7401422
Abstract: The invention relates to a shoe, in particular a sprint shoe, including a plate arranged in a sole area of the shoe. The plate extends essentially over the complete length of the sole area and is substantially planar in a forefoot part and is constructed of a material and configured to allow for elastic bending of the plate in the longitudinal direction, and is configured to three-dimensionally encompasses a rearfoot part of the foot. Optionally, the plate includes a heel cup in the rearfoot part to cradle the foot. Further, a wedge- or rib-like raised part may be arranged below the heel cup.
