Abstract: A personal hygiene device includes a head with a mirror affixed to a base by a telescopic arm, which is collapsible into the base for storage. The device includes at least one light and the mirror includes a capacitive region for touch-sensitive operation of the light. The device is waterproof for use in a bathroom. The device is optionally enabled for short range wireless communication with external devices, such as a smart phone with a related mobile device application. Optical features include a camera for capturing still, video, or panoramic images, which may be transmitted using the application, and a loudspeaker for playing sound via the application.
