    Abstract: Methods and systems for bound based contextual zoom are disclosed. Legacy WINDOWS desktop and web applications were designed for a mouse or other high-precision pointing device, and as such, small controls and closely grouped controls/icons were commonly designed/used on the screen. Interacting with such applications remoted to a touch-based device (e.g., a smartphone or tablet) is difficult. Bound based contextual zoom overcomes at least some of these limitations by permitting a user to zoom in on an area of interest within an application or desktop, and for a period of time long enough to complete the touch interaction. The area zoomed might be a group of controls on a ribbon bar, the minimize/maximize/close buttons in the top-right corner of a window, a group of form input controls, or any other natural cluster of related user interface (UI) elements.

    Abstract: A device and system for and methods of using an ultrasound probe housing containing ultrasound probes configured to produce images inside the body of a patient for procedures requiring needle or probe insertion. The ultrasound probe housing can be configured with a guide channel cut-out or aperture between the ambient side and body side of a patient. A needle guide assembly may be pivotally connected internal to the guide channel cut-out or aperture of the ultrasound probe housing at a pivot point such that during use the needle enters the patient through the needle guide assembly within the ultrasound probe housing so that the needle can be visualized by the ultrasonic probes in real time. The ultrasound probe housing may also provide an adhesion or suction quality to the body side of the device to facilitate aspects of the invention.

The circuitry may be configured to receive the angular rotation information associated with the rotation of the RC vehicle from the one or more sensors, and control a wheel speed and/or a wheel direction of at least one wheel of the RC vehicle based at least in part on (i) command data received from a controller associated with the RC vehicle and (ii) the received angular rotation information.

The electronics may include one or more sensors that generate sensor data, a computer that processes the sensor data to determine the pulse condition of the patient, and a user interface (UI) component that generates a user-perceptible indication of the determined pulse condition. In alternate embodiments, the computer and the UI component may be external to the device and the device may communicate the sensor data to the computer via wired or wireless connection. In further embodiments, multiple devices may be attached to the patient and concurrently transmit raw or processed sensor data to facilitate determination of the pulse condition.

    Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for managing a processing load of a processing module and thermal energy produced by the processing load. In one example, a method includes identifying a hot water profile that contains usage information of hot water from a hot water tank that serves as a heat sink for the thermal energy. A determination may be made as to whether it is economically desirable to increase or decrease the processing load based on factors such as an economic value generated by the processing load, a cost of energy needed to support the processing load, and an economic value of the thermal energy transferred to the hot water tank based on the hot water profile. The processing load may be dynamically modulated by a local or remote controller in response to the economic desirability of increasing or decreasing the processing load as well as other possible parameters.

The composition has a pH of about 3.5 to about 4.7. A method of treating damaged hair comprises rinsing the hair with tepid water and applying the composition. The composition neutralizes the hair shaft, reduces swelling of the cuticle, replenishes and protects the core polypeptide chain, strengthens existing disulfide bonds, and creates new ionic and hydrogen bonds within the hair structure. It makes coarse, afro-textured hair, curly hair, and wavy hair easier to manage.
