Abstract: A securities trading game is provided wherein players can make buy and sell decisions by clicking buttons on the screen of a computer that are associated with one of a fixed number of securities, such as stocks. A system in accordance with the invention can present a player with a computer screen showing dollars in an account that can be used to make purchases and a fixed set of securities to purchase from the account, such as by clicking on a buy (and sell) button. The screen can also show winnings, in terms of gains or loses through fully consummated transactions, in which a security has been both bought and sold.
