  • Publication number: 20240078073
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying the most impactful moments or segments of music, which are those most likely to elicit a chills effect in a human listener. A digital music signal is processed using two or more objective processing metrics that measure acoustic features known to be able to elicit the chills effect. Individual detection events are identified in the output of each metric based on the output being above or below thresholds relative to the overall output. A combination algorithm aggregates concurrent detection events to generate a continuous concurrence data set of the number of concurrent detection events during the music signal, which can be calculated per beat. A phrase detection algorithm can identify impactful segments of the music based on at least one of peaks, peak-proximity, and a moving average of the continuous concurrence data.

  • Publication number: 20230185691
Abstract: Techniques and solutions are provided to facilitate logging of computing processes. A computing process generates multiple log entries. A first portion of the multiple log entries are written to a first log. A second portion of the multiple log entries are written to the first log and to a second log, where the second portion is less than the first portion, such as being a proper subset of the first portion. Log entries can be determined to be written to the second log by scanning all or a portion of a log, by evaluating log entries as they are generated, or through computer code that causes log entries to be written to the second log. Typically, the second log is maintained for a longer period of time than the first log.

  • Publication number: 20220176858
Abstract: An armrest assembly for a seat in a modified OEM vehicle. The armrest assembly includes an armrest support having a grommet and a detent pin, wherein the grommet includes a grommet aperture. An armrest includes an armrest aperture and a pin aperture; wherein the armrest aperture is configured to receive the grommet and the pin aperture is configured to receive the detent pin. A quick release connector extends through the grommet aperture and the armrest aperture, wherein the quick release connector includes an actuator to release the armrest from the armrest support. • Patent number: 11252119
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for logging message data with reduced the latency and decreased overhead in multi-tenant systems. A message server may implement a two-stage process for logging the message data. In the first stage, the message server may create job-specific and write-optimized staging tables for each message processing job, and may store the message data for each job in a corresponding staging table. This may be done as the message server is building and sending the messages for each job. Additionally, the message server may partition or shard the staging tables so that the write operations are spread to multiple storage disks to avoid creating a storage server hotspot or bottleneck. In the second stage, the message server may move the accumulated message data from the individual staging tables to a corresponding tenant space at regular intervals. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

  • Patent number: 10149724
Abstract: A radiographic system may be configured to capture a first radiograph containing a first image of an object with the source and the receiver in a first orientation with respect to one another. The system may store the first radiograph and metadata representing vertical and horizontal positions of the first orientation. At least one of the source and the receiver may be moved so that the source and the receiver are in a second orientation with respect to one another. A second radiograph containing a second image of the object may be captured with the source and the receiver in the second orientation. The second radiograph may be stored in memory along with metadata representing vertical and horizontal positions of the second orientation. Based on the captured radiographs, a magnification of the object of interest, as represented by the first image or the second image, may be determined.
