Abstract: A device for rehabilitation of the upper limb includes a frame and an exoskeleton mounted on the frame. The exoskeleton has a first joint coupled to the frame, a first L-shaped connector connecting the first joint to a second joint, a second L-shaped connector connecting the second joint to a third joint, and an attaching member attaching an upper limb of a human subject to the exoskeleton. The first joint is situated above a shoulder of the human subject and has a first axis of rotation substantially coinciding with the horizontal abduction/adduction rotation axis of the shoulder. The second joint is situated behind the shoulder and has a second axis of rotation coinciding with the abduction/adduction rotation axis of the shoulder. The third joint is situated at the side of the shoulder and has a third axis of rotation substantially coinciding with the flexion/extension rotation axis of the shoulder.

According to an embodiment, a method for controlling an access to a data resource comprises: communicating a request for the access to the data resource from a requester to an owner of the data resource for validation, the communicating being implemented by a network server; and generating information required by an access implementation server to implement a validated access and updating a data storage device with the generated information.

Abstract: A generic interface layer for providing a generic interface to a hardware environment for a program executing on the hardware environment. The generic interface layer is interrupt-driven. It includes driver code for devices in the hardware environment that is executed in response to software interrupts from the program and interrupt handling code for handling interrupts from the hardware environment. The interrupt handling code responds to an interrupt by calling a callback in the program. The generic interface layer includes a loader for loading the program and a debugger for controlling execution of the program.
