  • Patent number: 10045396
Abstract: Communications links can be established between a plurality of communications nodes to form an at least partially connected mesh network. Establishing a link can include transmitting synchronization data from a first communications node. The synchronization data can be transmitted symbol synchronously on a plurality of narrowband radio channels. A second communications node can combine energy received from the plurality of narrowband radio channels and use the combined energy to synchronize to the first communications node. Data transmissions can be demultiplexed by the first communications node into a plurality of lower rate streams for transmission across the plurality of narrowband radio channels. The second communications node can receive and multiplexed back together the lower rate streams.

  • Publication number: 20060267389
Abstract: Work chair, comprising a seat, supported in a height-adjustable manner by a column on a foot, and an adjustable backrest, the seat, at least in part, having a substantially horizontal position, and the backrest promoting an upright position of the users back, characterized in that the column (3) is composed of three parts (4, 5, 6) and as a result provides a two-stage adjustability for the seat height, in that the seat is divided into two parts (7, 8), in such a manner that a rear section (7) is fixed and always retains the substantially horizontal position, while a front section (8) is hinged with respect to the rear section, and in that the front section (8) is secured to the column (3) in a hinged manner (11) by a rod (9) secured to it in a hinged manner (10). The chair can be dimensioned in such a way that it allows an ergonomic working position to be adopted by virtually all users, irrespective of their corporal size, with the possibility of increasing the size of the workstation.

  • Patent number: 4948373
Abstract: A structural model of the human craniomandibular system, comprises a cranium part, a flexible column formed by a plurality of vertebra parts interconnected by at least two elastic bands and by universal couplings, the top vertebra part rotatably supporting the cranium part. The cranium part is provided in opposite side faces thereof with cavities serving as bearing surfaces. A mandible part has top faces adapted to cooperate with said bearing surfaces and form a joint for movement of the mandible part, according to several degrees of freedom. Further, there are provided a hyoid part, a sternum part (41), a pair of clavicle parts coupled with said sternum part by universal couplings as well as a pair of scapula parts coupled with a respective clavicle part by universal couplings, the aforementioned parts being interconnected by a plurality of resilient members, arranged in pairs, which simulate the muscle functions.
