  • Publication number: 20190009756
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices of various embodiments enable autonomous battery vehicles to provide electricity to an electric vehicle. Various embodiments may enable an autonomous battery vehicle to navigate to an electric vehicle, replace an internal battery of the electric vehicle with the autonomous battery vehicle, and provide electricity to the electric vehicle. In some embodiments, an autonomous battery vehicle may be configured to have a dedicated purpose of recharging and/or replacing batteries of electric vehicles. In this manner, an autonomous battery vehicle may in effect be a battery that propels (e.g., drives, flies, etc.) itself.

  • Publication number: 20180321206
Abstract: The invention describes a modular fluid sensing system comprising a fluid sensing terminal (150) and removable fluid channel units (101, 102, 103). The fluid channel units (101, 102, 103) comprise or can be combined with fluid treatment units as filters, sensors and seals. The fluid channel units (101, 102, 103) can be combined in accordance with the present needs of the user of the fluid sensing system. The invention therefore enables a reconfigurable channel system with reconfigurable measurement and treatment options within a fluid sensing system.

  • Publication number: 20180274804
Abstract: The present application relates to an apparatus for purifying and/or humidifying air, and a related method for purifying and/or humidifying air. The apparatus comprises a rotary filter (1), a fan (9, 10) for passing air through the rotary filter (1), and a reservoir (4, 5), and wherein the rotation speed of the rotary filter (1) and the settings of the fan (9, 10) depend on the ambient relative humidity and ambient gas pollutant concentration. The apparatus combines the feature of chemisorption with the use of a rotary filter (1), thereby providing an apparatus which is able to purify air and/or regulate the ambient humidity based on humidity levels and levels of a target gas pollutant in the air. The invention removes the need for a pump for liquid transport, removes the need for frequent and expensive filter changes by the user, and instead only requires the user to periodically refresh the filtration solution in the reservoir (4, 5).

  • Publication number: 20170341001
Abstract: An air purifier filter system comprises an air purifier filter unit and a machine readable identifier which provides information concerning the filter unit type and performance information specific to a target pollutant to be filtered by said air purifier filter unit from a plurality of different pollutants that can be filtered by that filter unit type. This information can be used to provide an end of life prediction for the filter unit or provide advice that the filter should be changed for other reasons. This enables the user to be given advance warning, and to be given instructions when it is time to change the filter unit. The instructions to change the filter unit may be more accurate than a simple timer as they can take account of the type of filter unit and the performance information. In some examples the use history of the filter unit may also be used to predict the time when it should be changed.

  • Publication number: 20170070847
Abstract: Methods, systems and devices for locating a wireless identity transmitter with a central server connected with one or more proximity broadcast receivers, such as stationary receivers or mobile devices operating as wireless receivers. The wireless identity transmitter may be a compact device configured to broadcast messages, such as through Bluetooth® advertisements, including an identification code. When within proximity, a proximity broadcast receiver may receive broadcast messages from the wireless identity transmitter and relay location information along with the wireless identity transmitter's identification code to a central server as sighting messages. The proximity broadcast receiver's own location may provide an approximate location for the wireless identity transmitter. The central server may process sighting messages, which may include signal strength information, to accurately locate the wireless identity transmitter.
