  • Patent number: 11320978
Abstract: A database system associated with a plurality of source databases in a virtual computing system includes a dashboard having a main menu for providing a plurality of control functions and a body that dynamically changes based upon the plurality of control functions that are selected. The dashboard includes a homepage for displaying a plurality of cells in the body, including a first cell for displaying a list of the plurality of source databases. The main menu includes a first control function, the selection of which triggers a database provisioning service by presenting options to either create a new source database or register an existing database within the body and a second control function, the selection of which triggers a copy data management service by presenting an option to create a new cloned database.

  • Publication number: 20220132089
Abstract: An imaging device may have an array of image pixels that includes red, green, blue, and infrared pixels. The imaging device may include a dual-band filter that allows transmission of light in the visible band and in the near-infrared band and may include color processing circuitry that produces a color image with marked infrared regions. The color processing circuitry may include a standard color processing pipeline with a color correction matrix that produces a tone-mapped standard red, green, and blue image and may include infrared marking circuitry. The infrared marking circuitry may include hue angle determination circuitry, cell means determination circuitry, and near-infrared determination circuitry that determine portions of the image with high infrared reflectance to be marked. The infrared-marked tone-mapped standard red, green, and blue image may be output to a machine vision system to identify objects in the imaged scene with high infrared reflection.

  • Patent number: 11311695
Abstract: Medical tubes and methods of manufacturing medical tubes. The tube(s) may be a composite structure made of two or more distinct components that are spirally wound to form an elongate tube. For example, one of the components may be a spirally wound elongate hollow body, and the other component may be an elongate structural component also spirally wound between turns of the spirally wound hollow body. The tube(s) need not be made from distinct components, however. For instance, an elongate hollow body formed (for example, extruded) from a single material may be spirally wound to form an elongate tube. The elongate hollow body itself may in transverse cross-section have a thin wall portion and a relatively thicker or more rigid reinforcement portion. The tube(s) can be incorporated into a variety of medical circuits or may be employed for other medical uses.

  • Patent number: 11303605
Abstract: An enforcement module receives a DNS-based rule of a segmentation policy that controls access of a managed workload to workloads in a DNS domain in which the IP addresses of the workloads associated with a domain name are resolved by a DNS server. When the managed workload makes a connection request to the workload associated with the domain name, the enforcement module snoops on a DNS response from the DNS server to learn the IP address of the workload associated with the domain name. If a domain name of the DNS domain is in a whitelist of domain names permitted by the DNS-based rule, the enforcement module adds the learned IP address to a whitelist of IP addresses and configures a firewall associated with the managed workload to permit connections to the IP addresses in the whitelist.

  • Publication number: 20220100686
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for routing interrupts on a coherency probe network are disclosed. A computing system includes a plurality of processing nodes, a coherency probe network, and one or more control units. The coherency probe network carries coherency probe messages between coherent agents. Interrupts that are detected by a control unit are converted into messages that are compatible with coherency probe messages and then routed to a target destination via the coherency probe network. Interrupts are generated with a first encoding while coherency probe messages have a second encoding. Cache subsystems determine whether a message received via the coherency probe network is an interrupt message or a coherency probe message based on an encoding embedded in the received message. Interrupt messages are routed to interrupt controller(s) while coherency probe messages are processed in accordance with a coherence probe action field embedded in the message.

  • Publication number: 20220058025
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for arbitrating threads in a computing system are disclosed. A computing system includes a processor with multiple cores, each capable of simultaneously processing instructions of multiple threads. When a thread throttling unit receives an indication that a shared cache has resource contention, the throttling unit sets a threshold number of cache misses for the cache. If the number of cache misses exceeds this threshold, then the throttling unit notifies a particular upstream computation unit to throttle the processing of instructions for the thread. After a time period elapses, if the cache continues to exceed the threshold, then the throttling unit notifies the upstream computation unit to more restrictively throttle the thread by performing one or more of reducing the selection rate and increasing the time period. Otherwise, the unit notifies the upstream computation unit to less restrictively throttle the thread.

  • Publication number: 20220050785
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for employing system probe filter aware last level cache insertion bypassing policies are disclosed. A system includes a plurality of processing nodes, a probe filter, and a shared cache. The probe filter monitors a rate of recall probes that are generated, and if the rate is greater than a first threshold, then the system initiates a cache partitioning and monitoring phase for the shared cache. Accordingly, the cache is partitioned into two portions. If the hit rate of a first portion is greater than a second threshold, then a second portion will have a non-bypass insertion policy since the cache is relatively useful in this scenario. However, if the hit rate of the first portion is less than or equal to the second threshold, then the second portion will have a bypass insertion policy since the cache is less useful in this case.
