  • Patent number: 11742692
Abstract: Techniques for an electronic device to perform power-stealing techniques to harvest energy from a power-control circuit to power components of the electronic device. In some examples, the electronic device may be connected in the power-control circuit between a power supply and a relay that is selectively configured to activate a power load. According to the techniques described herein, the electronic device may include voltage-drop circuitry that is connected in the power-control circuit such that a voltage drop is produced across electrical components of the electronic device while the relay is in the activated, or triggered, state. In this way, the electronic device may perform power-stealing from the power-control circuit while the relay is maintained in the activated state.

  • Publication number: 20230240707
Abstract: Rotational atherectomy devices and systems can remove or reduce stenotic lesions in blood vessels by rotating an abrasive element within the vessel. The abrasive element can be attached to a distal portion of an elongate flexible drive shaft that extends from a handle assembly. In particular embodiments, the handle assembly includes a compressed gas driven turbine member that drives rotation of the drive shaft. The turbine member can be rotatably attached to a carriage that is longitudinally translatable in relation to a housing of the handle assembly. The handle assembly can include a latch mechanism that when actuated allows the carriage to translate to a proximal-most position. While the carriage is in the proximal-most position, an open pathway is created so that a guidewire can be slidably passed through the handle assembly and a lumen of the drive shaft.

  • Publication number: 20230194811
Abstract: An optoelectronic module includes a housing enclosing at least one optical transmitter or receiver and includes a release mechanism configured to engage with a cage sized and shaped to receive the housing. A cable connector for a fiber optic cable is configured to engage in a port of the module, and a slideable collar on the cable connector can keep the module engaged in the port. For example, the collar can hold tabs or arms inside the port engaged with slots or indents on a body of the connector to prevent the connector from being pulled from the port. A retainer is configured to prevent retraction of a collar on the cable connector so that the connector is not inadvertently removed from the port. By keeping the connector engaged, the retainer may by extension keep the module engaged in the cage by preventing inadvertent release of the release mechanism on the module.

  • Publication number: 20230186630
Abstract: A monitored area including a plurality of video cameras is monitored for possible events. A video camera captures a video stream showing a portion of the monitored area and performs video analysis on the captured video stream. When the video camera identifies an event of interest within the captured video stream, the video camera generates event information associated with the identified event of interest. The video camera uses the relative location information to determine which video camera of the plurality of video cameras is positioned to capture the event of interest now and/or in the future and instructs that video camera to track the event.
