  • Patent number: 9295573
Abstract: In some embodiments, the present invention generally provides self-adjusting gastric banding systems for the treatment of obesity and obesity related conditions, as well as systems for allowing the automatic self-adjustment of gastric bands when a patient swallows a large bolus. In some embodiments, the present invention generally provides for gastric banding systems having a satiety booster, for example, to increase satiety levels when a patient desires to curb appetite at a particular time. In some embodiments, the present invention may provide for gastric banding systems that allow for both the automatic self-adjustment of gastric bands when a patient swallows a large bolus and an incorporated satiety booster for increasing satiety levels when a patient desires to curb appetite at a particular time.

  • Publication number: 20160006110
Abstract: An apparatus is provided with a conductive bezel section and a conductive ground plane section forming a perimeter and being positioned opposite the conductive bezel section. The conductive ground plane section is separated from the conductive bezel section by a perimeter gap at the perimeter. A structural tank circuit is integrated with and connecting the conductive bezel section and the conductive ground plane section across the perimeter gap. Another implementation may include a structural capacitor or a structural inductor integrated with and connecting the conductive bezel section and the conductive ground plane section across the perimeter gap.

  • Publication number: 20160006109
Abstract: An electronic device case includes a conductive cap section and a conductive bezel section forming a perimeter outside the conductive cap section and separated from the conductive cap section by a bezel gap. A conductive ground plane section forms a perimeter and is positioned opposite the conductive cap section and the conductive bezel section. The conductive ground plane section is separated from the conductive bezel section by a perimeter gap. One or more components reside between the conductive cap section and the conductive ground plane section forming a resonant cavity including a ground plane resonant cavity portion between the one or more components and the conductive ground plane section and a substantially annular resonant cavity portion between the one or more components and the perimeters of the conductive bezel section and the conductive ground plane section.

  • Patent number: 9225885
Abstract: A camera module for a mobile device includes a cover, a base and a lens module. The cover has an outer side from which an annular axial extension protrudes. The axial extension defines a lens opening and a lens movement axis. The axial extension has an outer end surface defining an outer end of the camera module. The outer side of the cover laterally adjacent the axial extension defines a gasket sealing surface against which a gasket can be compressed for sealing. The base defines an inner end of the camera module opposite the outer end. The lens barrel is positioned within the module and driveable to extend and retract relative to the base and within the axial extension. The lens barrel at an outermost position is axially recessed from the end surface of the axial extension and is laterally separated from the gasket sealing surface by the axial extension.
