  • Publication number: 20240243926
Abstract: A system is provided for a secure modular cloud-enabled resource exchange apparatus. In particular, the resource exchange apparatus may comprise a security box operatively coupled to one or more modular components, which may include computing components or devices and/or peripherals. The components of the resource exchange apparatus may be secured using security certificates and/or tokens associated with the input and/or output ports of each component. The computing device within the resource exchange apparatus may be communicatively coupled with a cloud server, from which the computing device may retrieve security certificates, configuration parameters, and/or the like. Upon detecting that a component has invalid certificate, the system may automatically disconnect and block the component. In this way, the system may ensure that only authorized devices may be used within the resource exchange apparatus.

  • Patent number: 12035440
Abstract: A system is configured to determine light effects from a dynamic light scene (271, 272) which correspond to a first moment (275) in the dynamic light scene and control one or more lighting devices to render these light effects. The system is further configured to receive a user input signal, determine a second moment (276) in the dynamic light scene based on the user input signal, and determine a transition from the first moment to the second moment. This transition is faster than a normal transition from the first moment to the second moment, as specified in the dynamic light scene. The system is further configured to determine further light effects which correspond to the second moment in the dynamic light scene and control the one or more lighting devices to render these further light effects after the transition.

The apparatus includes a housing having a membrane positioned therein. The membrane has an interior surface and an exterior surface. The housing has an inlet port located outward of the exterior surface of the membrane and first and second outlet ports. The first outlet port is located outward of the exterior surface of the membrane and the second outlet port is located inward of the interior surface of the membrane. A first pump is used to route pressurized, untreated fluid from a fluid source through the membrane to produce permeate.
