  • Publication number: 20240121265
Abstract: An authoritative domain name system (DNS) server receives DNS requests for domains. The authoritative DNS server transmits DNS responses to the DNS requests with address records that include IP addresses that are selected from a larger pool of IP addresses, where a first DNS response can include IP addresses different from IP addresses included in a second DNS response for the same domain. Also, the same IP addresses may be returned for a first domain and a different, second domain. The authoritative DNS server may select the IP addresses to include in DNS responses to the DNS requests using a round-robin process.

  • Patent number: 11950436
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a device that includes an irregular network of interconnected ridges in physical contact with a planar substrate and a perovskite layer, where the planar substrate include a support layer and a first charge selective contact layer, the first charge selective contact layer is positioned between the support layer and the interconnected ridges, each ridge includes a second charge selective contact layer and an insulating layer, the insulating layer is positioned between the first charge selective contact layer and the second charge selective contact layer, and the perovskite layer substantially covers the plurality of interconnected ridges and the underlying planar substrate.

  • Patent number: 11189295
Abstract: A sonic signal encodes a symbol sequence representing a binary message, for delivery as audio content. The binary message into a sequence of symbols that are each associated with frequency characteristics transmitted over a time period. Two carriers are transmitted at two selected frequencies during each time period, delivering the binary data at a high rate. The symbol sequence is preceded by a prefix which takes the form of a sweeping frequency tone which sweeps over the frequency ranges of the carriers. Further, the amplitudes of the carriers are adjusted so that higher frequency transmissions are transmitted at higher sound pressure levels. Methods for synchronizing to the symbol sequence and decoding the symbol sequence are also described.

  • Publication number: 20210237305
Abstract: A routing jig for enabling location of router guides prior to routing a feature into a workpiece includes a transparent or semi-transparent base component having longitudinal sides, a lower surface and an upper surface. The routing jig also includes retaining structure such as side bars and screws. The base component and the retaining structure together define a nominal width of the routing jig in a transverse direction. A plurality of shims are selectively and removably securable to the longitudinal sides of the base component by the retaining structure, thereby to increase the nominal width of the routing jig.

  • Patent number: 10826623
Abstract: A disclosed device is configured to generate and transmit a sonic signal that encodes a symbol sequence, representing a data message, for delivery as audio content. The device includes an audio transmitter and a processor circuit. The processor circuit is configured to encode the data message as a sequence of symbols, with each symbol encoding a data value that is associated with respective phase characteristics of a transmitted audio carrier. The processor is further configured to generate audio samples of a digitized version of the sequence of symbols using the phase characteristics of the audio carrier associated with the symbols, and to control the audio transmitter to generate and transmit the sonic signal, based on the audio samples. A further disclosed device is configured to receive the sonic signal and to decode a symbol sequence by identifying symbols corresponding to determined phases of the sonic signal.

  • Publication number: 20110219076
Abstract: A system and method for generating an integrated content object. A plurality of user generated content objects may be associated with a respective plurality of slots in a grid. Adding a user generated content object to a grid may comprise determining whether a free slot in the grid is available. Adding a user generated content object to a grid may comprise scaling down user generated content objects already associated with the grid, providing free slots in the grid by increasing the number of slots in the grid and associating a user generated content object with a free slot.
