Abstract: Method for producing multiply-charged helium nanodroplets and charged dopant clusters and nanoparticles out of the helium nanodroplets, the method comprising: producing neutral helium nanodroplets in a cold head (1) via expansion of a pressurized, pre-cooled, supersonic helium beam of high purity through a nozzle (3) into high vacuum with a base pressure under operation preferably below 20 mPa, ionizing the helium nanodroplets by electron impact (15), wherein the electron impact (15) leads to multiply-charged helium nanodroplets, doping the charged helium nanodroplets with dopant vapor in the pickup cell (19), wherein the doped nanodroplets form cluster ions with the initial charges acting as seeds, wherein the size of the nanoparticles can vary from a few atoms up to 105 atoms by arranging the size of the neutral helium nanodroplets, the charge of the helium nanodroplets and the density of dopant vapor in the pickup cell (19).

Abstract: icFoundation is the core of a Web-based Electronic Commerce system. The icFoundation product provides a platform between corporate systems and e-commerce channels with common presentation and navigation, environment management, common standards, error management, auditing, and enhanced security features. One goal of icFoundation is to demonstrate enterprise value by combining three basic standards of Transaction Processing; Scalability, Reliability, and Security. icFoundation specifically takes full advantage of the Pentium class Processor running Windows NT. A single server may easily scale from 8 to 32 processors and multiple servers may be combined into a centralized or distributed architecture. icFoundation is tightly integrated with Microsoft™ Transaction Server (MTS). Abstract: A toothbrush is disclosed having a brush head that includes a flexible member formed for resilient flexure between a first shape and a second shape. The flexible member has first and second sides and a central bristle support portion disposed between first and second outer bristle support portions. The flexible member also has an elastic portion interconnecting the central bristle support portion to the first and second bristle support portions along lateral edges thereof. The toothbrush further includes a pair of handle extensions for supporting the flexible member at the first and second sides thereof such that the flexible member is free to flex between first and second shapes when stressed. An array of first bristle tufts is attached to the central bristle support portion. First and second arrays of second bristle tufts are attached to the first and second outer bristle support portions, respectively, and are aligned in parallel relation to the array of first bristle tufts.

Abstract: A toothbrush is set forth in which the bristles are mounted on a readily flexed resilient member supported from a handle by means of one or more handle extensions. The bristles are arranged in arrays with a center array for engaging the biting surface of a tooth and outer arrays for simultaneously engaging the sides of the tooth and adjacent gums when the resilient member is flexed by the engagement of the center array bristles with the tooth. The resilient member can be flat or arcuate and bristles can project from either side of the resilient member. A double headed toothbrush is also described.

Abstract: A cushioned oral X-ray plate packet as well as a cushion for use with an X-ray plate packet are provided. The cushion is made of compressed cellulose sponge material which expands in thickness when moistened. A cushion wrap is also disclosed for controlling the wetting and/or expansion of the cushion.
