Publication number: 20110276491Abstract: Methods and systems for content initiation are described. In one embodiment, execution of an executable application is initiated. The executable application is associated with source code of a gaming application and a compiled version of a gaming application. Advertising data is received through a network. The source code of the gaming application is recompiled using the advertising data to create a recompiled version of the gaming application. Game play of the recompiled version of the gaming application is initiated. The game play includes presentation of advertising based on at least a portion of the advertising data. Additional methods and systems are disclosed.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 30, 2010Publication date: November 10, 2011Inventors: Douglas Elliott, Kevin Bertel, Michael Skolones, Paul A. Patent number: 6257346Abstract: A device for removing weeds from the ground comprises an elongated shaft, a handle mounted to an upper end of the shaft, a pair of blades mounted for opposed pivotal movement at a lower end of the shaft, and a plunger. Each blade has an upper section located above a pivot point of the blade and a lower section located below the pivot point. The plunger is mounted for reciprocal sliding movement between an extended position intermediate the lower sections of the blades and a retracted position intermediate the upper sections of the blades. The plunger and the upper sections of the blades include cam surfaces configured such that movement of the plunger from the extended position to the retracted position forces the upper sections of the blades away from one another, whereby tips of the blades are forced to converge towards one another to capture the weed and accompanying root structure. The weed and surrounding soil plug can be released by squeezing a hand-lever.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 1999Date of Patent: July 10, 2001Assignee: Alterra Holding CorporationInventors: Robert T. Schofield, Paul A. Schneider

Patent number: 6206243Abstract: A spray bottle for holding and dispensing a liquid comprises a collapsible container for holding the liquid, a spray head for dispensing and atomizing the liquid, and an elongated coupling for securing the spray head to the container and providing a handhold. The container is adapted to be collapsed into a substantially flat panel when empty and to be distended when the bottle is filled with the liquid. With the spray bottles empty and the containers collapsed, a retail display may comprise a plurality of spray bottles. The spray bottles are arranged in at least one row with the containers collapsed such that each spray head is in an abutting relationship with the spray head of at least one adjacent spray bottle.Type: GrantFiled: June 9, 1999Date of Patent: March 27, 2001Assignee: Alterra Holdings CorporationInventors: Paul A. Schneider, Mark A. McLean

Patent number: 4846243Abstract: A foldable window covering formed of a single web of flexible material. The web is formed with a plurality of independent loops extending from one side with opposed faces of the loops connected together along a horizontal seam parallel to and spaced from the end of the loop to form a pocket in each loop. The seams of adjacent loops are spaced apart such that the web forms a curtain wall section between adjacent loops which limits the spacing between adjacent loops when the window covering is in the expanded condition, and the loops are adapted to hang down and have a length such that each loop overlaps a subjacant loop when the window covering is in the expanded condition.Type: GrantFiled: August 19, 1988Date of Patent: July 11, 1989Assignee: Graber Industries, Inc.Inventor: Paul A. Schneider

Patent number: 4376602Abstract: A system for removing packing coke from baking chambers of a furnace for baking carbon bodies includes a crane mounted for movement along a rail, a silo supported by the crane, a suction tube connected to the silo and insertable into packing in a furnace baking chamber, and structure for supplying vacuum to the suction tube to remove the packing coke therethrough from the chamber into the silo. The vacuum structure includes a closed vacuum duct extending parallel to the rail, the vacuum duct having an upper slide surface and a plurality of valves spaced along the slide surface. A stationary vacuum source is connected to the vacuum duct and creates therein a vacuum. A sliding box is supported by the crane and is movable thereby along the vacuum duct over the valves on the slide surface. Each valve is openable by a respective pneumatic cylinder.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 1980Date of Patent: March 15, 1983Assignee: Ardal og Sunndal Verk a.s.Inventors: Jonas R. Landmark, Paul A. Patent number: 4266316Abstract: A suction tube unit for removing packing coke from vertical spaces within a ring furnace for producing carbon bodies includes a plurality of elongated suction and air supply tubes, the tubes being arranged to extend parallel to each other and being aligned in a single straight row, with each adjacent pair of the suction tubes being separated by a separate one of the air-supply tubes, thus forming an elongated assembly adapted to fit within the vertical space of the furnace. The assembly is supported at an upper portion thereof by a telescopic mounting. All of the tubes are open at lower ends thereof. A suction device is connected to the upper end of the suction tubes for creating a vacuum within the suction tubes to thereby withdraw the packing coke therethrough. Upper portions of the air-supply tubes have therein orifices to supply ambient air into the air-supply tubes and to aid in withdrawal of the packing coke through the suction tubes.Type: GrantFiled: September 21, 1979Date of Patent: May 12, 1981Assignee: Ardal Og Sunndal Verk A.S.Inventors: Paul A. Schneider, Carlo Eliassen
