  • Publication number: 20240139456
Abstract: FIGS. 1-16D & 66A-92D disclose a large variety of methods of forming the headgear for use in combination with a breathing apparatus including a unitary plastic core within textile casings. In some configurations, the plastic core material penetrates or bursts-through the textile casing of the straps. Some configurations include over moulding, alignment posts, T-joints and joint housings with injection aperture. FIGS. 17-65 & 93A-94C disclose a large variety of different headgear arrangements including top strap, front strap, rear strap and pairs of straps extending from the mask above and below the ear to meet behind the ear. FIGS. 95-121B disclose a large variety of connectors connecting the headgear assembly to the mask assembly where the headgear, mask and connector form a closed loop when the connector is disengaged with the mask assembly.

  • Patent number: 8781797
Abstract: A channel emulator reads a record of captured radio signal data of a group of cellular base stations in a fielded cellular network from a memory. Based on the record of the captured radio signal data, the channel emulator generates a simulation of a radio environment of the fielded cellular network. In one aspect, the simulation generates a number of live cellular base station signals fewer than the group of cellular base stations in the fielded cellular network. In another aspect, a terrain environment model is applied based on the captured radio signal data.

  • Publication number: 20020049538
Abstract: Vehicle tracking systems and methods are provided. A Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver is operative to generate first, GPS, data identifying the vehicle's current position from GPS signals. An On Board Diagnostics (OBD) Hardware Interface is operative to generate second, OBD, data identifying the vehicle's current position by using dead reckoning techniques. Arbitration means are provided to arbitrate between the first and second data by performing integrity checks thereon to generate data giving an improved identification of the vehicle's current position.
