  • Patent number: 11949221
Abstract: Current busbars may be made of copper and have at least one nominal bending point which has been locally heated and thereby softened prior to being installed. Such components may be used in power electronic circuits, especially an inverter, in fully electrical and partially electrical (hybrid) vehicles.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: April 2, 2024
    Assignee: AUDI AG
Inventors: Paul Böckenhoff, Philipp Eberhart, Benjamin Söhnle
  • Patent number: 11837921
Abstract: An electric machine comprises a rotor with a rotor body, wherein the rotor body has a plurality of poles each carrying at least one rotor winding formed from a plurality of conductor loops, wherein the poles extend in a radial direction of the rotor and the conductor loops running through grooves respectively formed between two adjacent poles, wherein a support element extending in the radial direction is respectively arranged in the grooves between the rotor windings of the adjacent poles, which support element, at a radially outer end of the groove, bears up against a thrust-bearing element arranged in a radially positionally-fixed manner between the adjacent poles, wherein the support element presses the conductor loops against the rotor body during a rotation and/or a temperature increase of the rotor.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: December 5, 2023
    Assignee: Audi AG
Inventors: Paul Böckenhoff, Tom Schneider, Paul Wetzel
  • Patent number: 11722042
Abstract: A method for putting an SSM rotor, having the following steps: arranging the SSM rotor to be potted having upright alignment in a potting mold; introducing a first casting compound from below into the casting mold until a certain pre-fill level is reached, at which the first casting compound extends at least up to the lower end face of the rotor winding; introducing a second potting compound from above into the potting mold, wherein the second potting compound is poured onto the rotor winding and is drawn into the rotor winding; further introducing of the first potting compound from below into the potting mold until a certain final fill level is reached; and curing of the potting compounds.

  • Patent number: 11611249
Abstract: An electric machine comprising a rotor having a rotor body. The rotor body has multiple poles each carrying at least one rotor winding formed from multiple conductor loops. The poles extend in a radial direction of the rotor and the conductor loops pass through slots each formed between two adjacent poles. A support element extending in the radial direction is arranged in each of the slots between the rotor windings of the adjacent poles. The support element applies pressure to the conductor loops when the rotor rotates and/or heats up. A pressure distribution element extending at least in portions in the radial direction along the support element and the adjacent rotor winding is arranged between the support element and the rotor windings, which pressure distribution element distributes the pressure applied by the support element onto the adjacent rotor winding.

  • Publication number: 20220165656
Abstract: A connection system for an optimized joining process of busbars, including at least one busbar of a first electronic circuit and at least one busbar of a second electronic circuit. The at least two electronic circuits represent individual components, and the individual components are connectable to one another via the at least one busbar. The at least one of the at least one busbar of the first electronic circuit is mechanically processed.
