  • Publication number: 20180030587
Abstract: A heating assembly for a thermal joining device, the heating assembly including a base body, through which a fluid passage passes and which is provided on an external surface with a heating device having a ceramic substrate designed as a thick-film ceramic material and a metallic heating conductor, wherein the heating conductor is produced from an anti-adhesion alloy, and/or wherein the heating conductor is coated with an anti-adhesion alloy coating, the anti-adhesion alloy containing a proportion of at least 5 percent by weight of at least one element from the group of the metals of the rare earths.

  • Publication number: 20070073901
Abstract: A sending station forms a send vector from a data vector having N elements by coding with an error correction code with an a-value modulation alphabet and Q elements, with a being a natural number equal to or greater than two, and sends the send vector to user equipment. The send energy able to be used for sending the send vector is distributed to the Q elements taking into consideration at least one characteristic of the error correction code such that the probability of an incorrect decoding of a receive vector received by the user equipment on the basis of the send vector sent is reduced.

  • Patent number: 4846242
Abstract: A roll shutter for roof windows, particularly of the hinged casement-type construction, including a roll shutter draw mechanism having two cords, one end of each of which is attached to the lower end of the roll shutter plating. The ends of the two cords are connected to a common cord which after being guided over stationary diverting elements is guided to a drivable spool. In addition, the roll shutter draw mechanism includes a length compensating device having a diverting element which can slide against the force of an elastic member and over which the two cords are guided in tandem. The length compensating device has at least one additional diverting element which can slide together with the slidable diverting element, and the cords are guided in their path from one slidable diverting element to the next by passing over a stationary diverting element.

  • Patent number: 4691753
Abstract: The present invention relates to a roll shutter for hinged casement type roof windows, which includes two guide rails (14) for the roll shutter bars (12), which guide rails (14) run parallel to each other and are connected to the shutter and is provided with a roll shutter activation device which includes a first and a second control cable (40 and 42) as well as a third control cable (50). The first and the second control cables (40 and 42) are led to a connection point (47) and are attached to each other. The connection point (47) is also connected with the third control cable (50) which is guided from a spool (26) on the winding shaft (24) of the roll shutter, through an activation loop (59) accessible to the user and an adjoining buffer loop (43) to the connection point (43). The length of the buffer loop (43) is at least as large as the displacement path of the roll shutter (10) between its completely open and completely closed positions.

  • Patent number: 4305013
Abstract: In order to provide a unitary, rugged and simplified engine knock sensor assembly for internal combustion engines, which is readily tunable after manufacture to particular frequency characteristics of a given engine, the invention provides a cantilevered bending oscillator which is clamped together with a suitable electrical contact in an axial channel of a metallic cylindrical socket. The radial clamping forces are permanently provided by deformation of the socket material, for example by mortising, or other dimensional changes of the socket material. A number of embodiments is presented. The invention also includes a method for simultaneously producing two separate electrical contacts from a single contact element.
